Nikki goes to replace Vikki and Ashland at a meeting. She’s very worried about Vikki – it will take a long time to get over this. Victor gets another text – Nick’s watching Ashland and Vikki hug. Victor must go put a stop to that. ‘This is outrageous’, he leaves.
Vikki insists on going to see her family alone. You’re right, Ashland’s instinct is to protect her. He’s happy to see her smiling. With a kiss, he wishes Vikki ‘good luck’ but knows she won’t need it. What was that? Billy and Nick hurry in as soon as Ashland leaves. Vikki won’t explain herself – trust me for once. I know what I’m doing. Thanking Billy for listening earlier, Vikki leaves. Nick doesn’t like this – at all.
Chance admits that he’s still having nightmares and panic attacks. Dr Hoffman’s taught him some breathing techniques. He recommended something else that Chance needs her support on – but you’re not gonna like it. Try me, Abby wants to help.
Billy relays to Nick that Vikki knows Ashland’s guilty – we also talked about him being dangerous. Victor arrives and is surprised to hear that Billy knows everything. Together, we could have stopped Ashland in his tracks.
In her office, Vikki makes a call – it’s me. I need to see you right away.
After putting Dom down for a nap upstairs, Abby asks what Dr Huffman recommends. He thinks I should go back to work on the police force. Abby’s surprised. Yes, Chance told the doctor about the failed stakeout with Rey. Abby doesn’t agree that he’s ready. Chance won’t do it if Abby doesn’t approve.
Nikki’s glad that Vikki called. She handled the staff meeting. Vikki feels better – where’s Dad? He went to go find you. Vikki knows his security is watching her. No, Ashland didn’t admit to lying about being sick. When Nick and Dad get here, Vikki will tell them everything they need to know.
Back at CL’s, Billy continues to scold Victor. Vikki says she knows what she’s doing. She’s furious with Ashland, Billy reassures. When Nikki calls, Nick and Victor head out. Stay out of it Billy Boy, Victor growls.
Abby wants Chance to go back to work – but why now? I’m in a better place, Chance explains why. He feels he’s back on the right track and trusts the doctor. I’ll pace myself, Chance promises. This is part of the process. He thanks Abby for her support ~kiss~
Vikki tells her Mom that she’s compartmentalizing. Your family will stand by you, Nikki vows. We might not agree on what that looks like, Vikki adds. Victor and Nick arrive. I’m not falling apart, Vikki reassures.
Billy’s at Society to lecture Ashland – even when you get caught, nothing sticks. Don’t count on that continuing. Smirking, Ashland takes a sip of his drink.
Abby reluctantly pulls away from Chance. Unfortunately, she has to get to work. Love you. Chance calls Rey to meet up for a talk.
It’s inevitable, Billy warns Ashland – Vikki will see through you.
Victor thinks Vikki’s in a state of shock. Nick tattles that she kissed Ashland. Nikki’s horrified. Vikki will say this once – I’ll handle this. She’s meeting Ashland later. She plans to tell him that nothing’s changed and that she still loves him.
