Sally doesn’t know what’s going on but she does know that Victor will look out for Vikki, Ashland will look out for himself – and that leaves HER to look out for Adam. If he has to step up and fill a leadership void so be it. When Victor drops by, Sally leaves Adam to whine about being ignored. Updated that Vikki’s standing by her man, Adam’s offer of help is rejected – Victor’s already gone to Nick.
It doesn’t take Ashland long to detect that Victor’s gotten to Nate; poisoning his friend’s mind against him. You know I didn’t lie, you’ve seen my test results, he gives it a try anyway. Yes, but those results came from you – and that’s why Nate dug deeper.
Kyle never got to meet his older brother, Jack mopes – at least he won’t mourn Keemo. Jack again thanks Phyllis for putting her life on hold at the drop of a hat to come with him. And now, it’s time to go home. They’re about to leave when Ally appears at the door.
Ally gives Jack a small statue that meant a lot to her Dad. This means the world to me, Jack’s voice warbles. Understanding that she has too much on her plate, he respects that and wishes her all the best.
Nick has no illusions as to how Vikki will react to him being there on Dad’s behalf. Why bother then? You’re my sister – I care about your happiness. Then why are you trying to destroy my marriage? Vikki finds Dad’s accusations ludicrous.
Back at Society, Nate admits to crossing a red line by looking up Ashland’s chest scans from his heart attack. There’s no evidence of cancer. No record of chemo either, Nate can barely contain his fury. Victor’s right – it’s been one big colossal lie.
Having recently lost his Mother, Jack understands what Ally’s going through – he’d never force a relationship on her and hopes she finds peace soon. If you’re ever back in LA perhaps we can go for coffee, Ally says hesitatingly. Jack invites her to visit or call if she needs ANYTHING. He’s left to gasp an emotional ‘wow’, to Phyllis.
Sally’s ear’s to the door as Adam scoffs/rants to his Dad – is Nick going to wave his little magic wand and invoke his sibling bond to make his sister turn on her husband? She’s put the company in the hands of a shark, he fumes at Victor. She’s the one who’s failed this family!
Nick wants to know how Vikki’s REALLY doing and to find out if she’s changed her mind about Ashland. It’s brutal to think that he’s betrayed you but I’m always here for you. It can’t be true, can it? Vikki finally expresses doubt.
Nate’s unintimidated by Ashland’s threat to have his medical license revoked. Go ahead, knock yourself out. I was ready to give it up anyway – to work for you. How ironic. So, what will you do with your illegally obtained information? Ashland wonders. Nate has no choice but to tell Victor and Vikki.
