Jack now knows that Keemo had conflicted feelings toward him. He reads aloud to Phyllis then explains that Keemo’s Mom didn’t want him to know that she was sick. He’s free of the conflict of being Jack Abbott’s son – I’m on a new path, he chokes up as he reads some more.
Jack continues to struggle with his emptions. Phyllis continues to provide support. Jack’s glad Keemo found forgiveness – the letters were written in the last year – maybe he knew he was dying. Phyllis promises they’ll get the answers.
