At Society with Jack, Lauren grumbles about Victor sending Mike to South America on a secret mission. She thinks him taking the job might have been a bad idea – with Victor, anything can happen.
Devon’s offer to call Nate is politely declined. Let’s just wait for the doctor to call. Abby worries she took Dom off breastmilk too soon. You’re an excellent Mother, Chance and Devon reassure her. Are you accusing me of overreacting? she snaps at Devon. It’s my job to protect Dom. Telling me to calm down just makes me more anxious.
No one’s accusing you of overreacting – we’re all on edge. Chance points out that Dr Bradley would have admitted Dom for observation if it were that serious. Let’s wait for the results and go from there. As they hug, Devon talks quietly to Dom.

Lily’s theory is that Billy’s duties are too vague – you need specifics. Yes, it is her responsibility to find him things to do. She wants him to flush out a pitch to show Devon – the idea is to pair his streaming service with their entertainment division to do podcasts. Billy could sink his teeth into that. Jack tries to focus on the dessert menu while Lauren continues to probe. No, he’s not giving up on romance but if it’s meant to be, it’ll come to him. If not, he has a fulfilling life; no complaints.
