After a restless night, Billy’s working from home. Reading Lily’s note (she’s gone to a meeting and there’s no coffee) he grabs his coat and leaves.
Lily drops by Devon’s – hoping he has time to talk, CEO to CEO.
At CL’s, Jack invites Amanda to take a seat. No, he hasn’t heard from Phyllis, she’s likely busy with Summer. Amanda believes they both deserve happiness – she just hoped it’d be together. Life is unpredictable, and so is Phyllis, Jack muses.
Sharon will be spending most of her day at CL’s – and she has a few new patients. Rey will have his partner back today. Seeing how happy Chance and Abby were last night, Rey may have been wrong about Chance returning to work too soon. Hang on – he gets a text from Chance.
At home, Abby frets that Dom’s pale and sleeping too much. Chance is optimistic – No rash, fever, or trouble breathing – the lab results will confirm that everything’s fine, he’s sure (though both look concerned)
Late night? Jack remarks when Billy arrives at CL’s yawning. He’s having trouble sleeping but assures it’s nothing; he’s perfectly happy being Lily’s COO. He and Lily are great – at home and at Chancellor. Amanda keeps the peace as Jack again wonders why Billy looks so tired.
You’re late for your first day back at the precinct! Abby suddenly remembers. Chance already sent Rey a text – Dom’s health is more important. Abby thinks they should let Devon know.
Dad would be proud of us, right? Lily hopes. Yes, Devon agrees – look at all you’ve accomplished since getting out of prison. Lily feels partly responsible that her Father died so young. Lily suggests they join forces; a Chancellor Industries-Hamilton Winters project to honour Katherine and Dad. Chance calls to update Devon that they just got back from taking Dom to the doctor. Quickly filling Lily in, Devon heads over to the estate.
Back at CL’s, Billy apologizes for being ‘testy’. Jack’s battled insomnia from time to time – maybe your subconscious is keeping you up. You have been through a lot, Amanda points out. Maybe there’s some issues you need to confront.
Sharon’s relieved to hear that Chance isn’t starting today, but hearing that Dom’s not well, hopes it’s nothing serious – should I let Mariah know? Rey thinks it best they let Abby and Chance handle it.
Abby tells Devon that Dom’s pale and lethargic. The doctor ran some blood tests. For what? he asks. After some online research, Abby thinks Dom might be anemic. That’s treatable, right? Devon hopes.
Lily ends a call as Billy returns. They’ll have to work from home due to construction at the office. She has important news – she talked to Devon about a joint venture (but had to leave because Dom’s sick) You’ve gotten up three nights in a row, Lily worries when Billy yawns – what’s up?
