At Society, Jill’s happy to have Lily aboard. Billy understands his Mother’s reasoning and pushes her to make the announcement. Jill’s on it – check your emails. She has something else to tell them.
Devon welcomes Abby and Chance in. She never gave up on you (and proved us all wrong) My husband’s back, Abby’s giddy. Chance can’t wait to meet his son. Devon’s clearly not ready to let Dominic go.
Abby thanks Devon for being her rock. You’ll always have a big role in Dominic’s life. Chance thanks Devon for being the Father figure he couldn’t be. The most important thing is that you’re both back. He only needs to know that Abby’s in a better state of mind. How could I not be? she kisses Chance.
Chance could still be in danger (and by extension, his family) Jill’s focussing on the future and hopes Billy can do the same thing. Something good will come of this. Billy feels the same way. After Jill leaves, he suggests Lily get started on rounding up the troops. He needs to make a call. His plan will wait until every detail’s worked out. I’m proud of you. At the exit, Lily turns back to give Billy a worried look.
At Newman Media, Victor reads the announcement – naming Lily as her successor is a brilliant move on Jill’s part. Adam’s glad they’re humiliated Billy – do you want to leave it at that or make a move for ChanceCom?
Victor’s curious to see how it all plays out. Jill opening up the playing field to bids complicates things but you like a challenge (Adam agrees) Victor’s sure that Vikki will join the bidding too – if only to keep ChanceCom out of their hands (for Billy) How far will she go to get what she wants? he wonders.
Jill’s made it clear where Lily stands with her. At least one of them will come out unscathed, This must be hurting Billy; Vikki’s glad she decided to send the kids off to boarding school. Now, she just has to tell Billy – things could get really ugly.
Sally joins Billy at Society’s bar – you look like you could use some company.
Returning to the estate, Jill asks Ashley for details – why couldn’t anyone tell them that Chance was alive!? He was protecting us? By letting us go through hell? He’s lucky Abby was the one to find him. We know you’re a softie, Ashley chuckles.
Devon brings Dominic down to meet his Dad. Look at you, so precious, so perfect, Chance gushes – I’ve got you, buddy. It’s hard to tell who’s more uncomfortable, Dominic or Devon.
