Jack has an idea to make things easier for Abby. What if we took Chance out of the decision-making process by going over his head?
‘Don’t stop on my account’, Billy returns to the apartment. Yes, he had a couple of drinks. When Lily asks to speak with Billy, Jill says it’s time for her to leave anyway. Never forget that I love you, she leaves without Billy echoing the sentiment. So, what’d I miss? he’s left to ask Lily.
My goodness, how nice to see you, Victor greets Jill warmly at Society. He’s so sorry about Chance. Relaying the good news that Ashley and Jack have found Abby, Jill’s tone changes when addressing what he and Adam did to her son.
Billy’s surprised to hear that Jill wants Lily as CEO of Chancellor – that’s huge; amazing, you’ll kill this – you can’t turn the opportunity down. He’s not so happy to hear that he can work FOR Lily, but not WITH her. I’d be your subordinate.
Jack suggests Ashley call Chris; let her into our circle of trust – she’d be able to clear Chance to go home. Ashley thinks they shouldn’t interfere. Let’s see what happens.
Chance could never hate Abby for fighting for their family – he loves her so much. Prove it by coming home to GC, meeting your son, she implores. Chance takes his ring back; let’s go home. Ecstatic, Abby hugs him tightly.
Kim’s glad that Abby was able to convince Chance to do the right thing. He ends a call – his section chief thinks he should go home too. Kim agrees that it’s the right call. No thanks necessary – just appreciate every moment with your wife and son – listen to her. she’s smarter than you are. Chance sure will.
Ashley calls her Mom – we’re coming home! Of course Ashley can do a couple of things for them, she agrees quickly.
Jill accuses Victor of calling Billy a liar when we both know every word of that story was true. BillyBoy brought it on himself, is all Victor will acknowledge. Jill won’t deny that but he’ll be fine. Victor doubts that – he’s gone too far. Good seeing you Victor, Jill leaves Society with her take out, laughing.
Billy feels like he’s losing everything; his dignity, his job and working with Lily. She really hopes he’ll come to Chancellor with her.
Ashley calls Victor – I’m bringing Abby home!
Abby’s coming home, Jack calls Jill to say – and things will be better when we all get home.
Last but not least, Abby calls Nina for a video chat. She’s on an island south of Spain and Nina’s visiting Philip in Australia. Abby has news. Ready? She hands the phone to Chance. Nina’s stunned. Chance! You’re alive! Is this really happening?! It’s good to see you too Mom.
