Phyllis came to talk to a friend, not get the third degree; Nick’s being rational; he’s happy that Summer’s thriving. You don’t say – what’s gotten into him? Jack’s sarcasm is met with tears. It’s really hard, Phyllis manages a smile – let’s go get a drink.
Chloe brings Sally to Adam for introductions. You were dating Jack, a friend of mine, he recognizes her. Chloe stands by her ‘latest discovery’. If we judge people by their questionable pasts, you and I are the first ones out the door. Fair point, Adam welcomes Sally aboard.
Chloe’s now brought Sally to Society to celebrate and brainstorm. No secrets, no skeletons. She has a good feeling about Sally (who appreciates the support and promises to keep her focus on work) But as Chloe blathers on about making Sally a star, her new hire is distracted by the arrival of Jack and Phyllis.
Getting Rey’s non-news (with Abby and Devon at CL’s) Tessa insists that everyone needs to acknowledge that this isn’t simply a case of Mariah wanting to be alone.
In her room, Mariah’s banging on the walls.
Mariah’s loved one’s debate. Rey can’t do anything without a lead – what am I missing? Sharon, Abby and Tessa insist she’d come home if she could.
Phyllis is annoyed to see Chloe ‘carrying on’ at the bar with her new ‘bestie’ after being warned that Sally is a snake. Maybe it’s business, Jack’s sure Chloe can handle herself. Phyllis is pissed that Sally didn’t leave town with her tail between her legs. I don’t get mad, I get even.
Chloe wants Sally’s wildest ideas (for interviews she’ll do backstage of fashion shows) Sally knows she has a lot to prove and that she took things too far at Fenmore’s – but that woman (Phyllis) is trouble and has it out for me.
Adam strolls into Society to chat with Jack and Phyllis. Getting an earful on the selfish, devious Sally, he concludes that Phyllis doesn’t like her because they’re alike (which makes Jack chuckle discreetly)
Mariah tells her baby that she’s searching for something; a clue as to why we’re being held here. She notices a camera above the door – you’re watching us?! How twisted are you!? she pulls over a chair to cover the camera. Come here and face me! she challenges.
The debate at CL’s continues. When Sharon thinks it time to look into Mariah’s credit card/bank activity, Tessa and Abby are in agreement. It’s time to bring Mariah home one way or another!
