Over wine and snacks, Devon and Amanda discuss Naya being willing to go to prison for Sutton. At least she came a long way – she initially rejected you then brought you into the family, even knowing you could expose Sutton. Maybe she wanted the truth to come out, and so, Devon believes the Mother-daughter relationship can be healed.
Having spoken to both Tara and Phyllis, Jack’s in Sally’s suite demanding an explanation. What were you talking to Tara about in the elevator?? She confronted me about a text that Phyllis sent. She doesn’t know what it said because Phyllis deleted it. Tara showed you the text on her phone, Jack shows her his video proof. Though Sally claims she didn’t read it, Jack can’t trust her.
Sally implores Jack not to play into Phyllis’ hand by overreacting. Are you OK with her stealing my phone? No – but Jack’s not OK with Sally deflecting blame. Sensing that Jack’s about to dump her, Sally wants to drop it and go for dinner as planned. Nope – Jack always feels it’ll be like this – Sally making excuses; him questioning his judgment. Once again, Jack leaves a woman frustrated to the point of tears.
Tara brings Harrison down and stands by as he scoops him up – there’s my boy! Explaining that he’s been feeling yucky, Ashland has hope that the doctors will fix it just like they did his heart. He wants to spend as much time as possible with his son.
At CL’s, Kyle chats with Vikki. She’s sure Ashland and Tara are fine talking alone. Everyone wants what’s best for Harrison. Yes, she did hide the fact that you were his Father for years – Tara’s good at keeping secrets. No, Kyle doesn’t plan to rekindle things with Tara – they’re just co-parenting. Be careful, Vikki warns before leaving.
Back in TGP lobby, Phyllis asks Jack how it went with Sally. None of your business, he barks. He doesn’t know who’s telling the truth but does know that Phyllis will never change. You say that like it’s a bad thing, she quips. You’re enjoying this, Jack says before storming out.
Still enjoying wine, snacks and distraction, Amanda likes that Devon always sees the good in everything (when he says that Imani’s coming around) They then exchange I love you’s.
Returning to Vikki’s, Ashland grabs their luggage and reports that things went well with Harrison. Vikki doesn’t seem to agree with his assessment that Tara has Kyle wrapped around her little finger.
In her suite, Sally rants on the phone to Tara – that bitch, Phyllis is ruining her life (and relationship with Jack) You’re on thin ice too. No, everything’s good at Tara’s end – we both gave the same explanation about the video. Thanks for the update, she ends the call (unaware that Kyle’s heard the whole conversation and is now suspicious)
