Summer loves GC and her family, Phyllis points out. But who wouldn’t want to be in her shoes in the fashion capital of the world? Billy also doesn’t necessarily agree that Kyle is the love of Summer’s life. Phyllis won’t accept Billy’s pessimistic opinion. Summer was manipulated to leave town. She’ll come back to claim what’s hers. In tears, Phyllis must expose Sally and Tara running her daughter out of town. I will NOT let this stand!
Sharon’s at the Abbott mansion. Kyle needs a plan on how to talk to Harrison about Ashland’s sickness. Sharon basically says that limiting contact will make Harrison blame himself. He needs to know that his Father loves him. The best course of action? Tara and Ashland need to talk to Harrison together. Be loving and truthful. That makes sense to Kyle – it’s exactly what we want to hear. Tara doesn’t look as enthusiastic.
After Sharon leaves, Tara claims to appreciate Sharon’s input but doesn’t want to talk to Harrison with Ashland – he’s furious with me. Kyle thinks they’ll be able to compromise – no one’s judging you. Ashland is, Phyllis is – Tara fears Jack and Kyle will judge her too. Kyle will always be in her corner. He’ll take care of Phyllis but this standoff with Ashland has to end.
Ashland feels better just being around Vikki (who hopes he’ll change his mind on seeking treatment) Our companies are merged – you are such a force; Vikki wants as much of Ashland as she can get. Any extra time he gets will be a gift; she’ll see to it. He takes a call from Tara. She’d like to meet to discuss Harrison.
In the park, Sharon leaves a message for Rey. I hope you’ll be coming home soon. Love you. She’s startled when Adam appears. You following me now?
Tara declines Kyle’s ‘sweet’ offer to sit in on her chat with Ashland.
Sharon apologizes – she’s been jumpy the last few days. It’s a public park in broad daylight, Adam wonders what has her spooked. The conversation we had last night; whether she likes good or bad Adam. Rey’s coming home from looking after your ex soon – our history is in the past, Sharon leaves.
Vikki thanks Nate for meeting her at CL’s. Billy sneaks in to hear her picks Nate’s brain about small cell carcinoma. Nate knows who she’s talking about and had a similar discussion with Billy. Vikki’s not interested in why Billy’s curious – she only wants Nate’s opinion on her friend’s health.
Chloe surprises Adam by returning to his office to say she’s emailed him some designs already. He’ll get back to her asap.
When her Mom returns to CL’s, Faith notes that she seems a bit off. Saying she really wants Rey to come home, Sharon escapes to the back room, leaving Faith and Moses looking puzzled.
Vikki knows there must be scientists working on new treatments – clinical trials etc. nothing’s off the table. Oncology isn’t Nate’s specialty but he’ll reach out on her behalf. As Billy eavesdrops, Vikki hopes to give her friend an option he’ll consider.
Tara thanks Ashland for coming so quickly. We need to be a team to talk to Harrison. We stopped being a team when you filed for sole custody. You tried to prevent me from ever seeing Harrison again, Ashland scowls.
Kyle accosts Phyllis at TGP with a simple request – to know ‘what the hell are you doing to Tara’?
