Vikki wants to put out a press release of their merger – let THAT be the Locke story everyone focuses on. Ashland sees the benefit but making plans will entail emails etc. that could leak out. Our agreement isn’t official, he reminds.
Kyle leads Tara in some breathing exercises to help her sleep. His eyes are closed – hers are gazing at him. After a thud upstairs sends Tara to check on Harrison, Kyle pulls out his phone to pout over a photo of Summer.
As Nikki’s former doctor, Ben’s happy to hear she hasn’t had any MS flare-ups recently. Good seeing you both, he leaves Nikki to question Victor’s ‘look’ – did I miss something?
Encouraged to share her feelings, Mariah’s vivid description of the life growing inside her, reduces Abby to tears – I can almost feel it – it’s magical.
Tara returns to find Kyle looking at his phone – unaware that he’s just deleted the photo of Summer. Fantasizing that Kyle kisses her, Tara’s instead asked about Harrison (who went back to sleep when reassured that his Daddy’s here)
Sally knows she completely blew it with Jack. The disappointed look in his eyes made her feel ashamed of herself. She saw him as a mentor, a friend, then more. Sally didn’t expect to fall for Jack, but he’s definitely worth it.
Over drinks, Tara appreciates being able to talk to Kyle about their time in the Hamptons – which changed her life. Kyle’s life was changed too – he was trying to forget the love of his l….. He knows he can have a life without Summer.
Billy thinks it’d be a brilliant move for Vikki to hook up with Ashland – they’d be a power couple. Lily suggests she may have genuine feelings for him. And now it’s time to go upstairs.
Jack’s not sure what he expected tonight. Sally’s not making a pitch to get back together with him – but kinda is. It wasn’t a one-way connection, was it? No, it’s not (present tense) Jack puts Sally out of her misery.
Vikki wants their merged companies to be one of the biggest conglomerates on the planet – time is a factor, though; she wants Ashland to experience this glory. He loves her passion; it’s contagious. Wanting to ‘go out with a bang’, he asks her to spend the night with him. Vikki looks horrified.
Kyle’s priorities are Harrison and his work at Jabot. He’ll figure out what comes next day by day. Tara looks mildly disappointed.
Jack still doesn’t think he and Sally are a good idea but agrees they can meet once in a while for casual drinks (though he’s not sure it’ll be ‘harmless’)
Vikki wants to hold off until LA – when the kids will be taken care of. Ashland agrees – you’re giving me another reason to live. He’s even reconsidering taking treatment.
Nikki feels for Ben – there’s nothing worse than watching your own child wither away. Victor agrees.
Abby and Mariah thank each other. After Abby and Tessa go up to bed, Mariah talks to her belly – you’re gonna have epic love dumped on you. Outside, Ben watches (ominous music plays)

My Thoughts: It’s gross that Billy, Lily use talking about Vikki as foreplay. That the condo is an exact replica of the one Billy shared with Phyllis was never a concern – Vikki’s the one living rent free in
Billy’s head ….. Hilarious scene of the day goes to Ben and Victor – pretending to spar in the middle of CL’s. Neither are able to make a closed fist and Victor looks like a schoolkid trying to Karate Kid his way out of being knocked out by Tyson….. Abby’s the one who should feel guilty – sure she misses labour and delivery – but she gets to miss labour and delivery!! And stretch marks and not being able to sit comfortably for a week and leaking breasts. Since she quit drinking to support Mariah, she should also trade her size 2 clothes for maternity wear for the next few months
