Back at ChanceCom, Lily confides in Amanda. Lily’s not and cold with Billy. She has a theory but would rather hear Amanda’s. Do you have a clue? Any insight?
Billy now has to wonder whether Vikki’s OK with him seeing Lily. Yes – she’s a good woman, a good Mother – so would agree that the kids should come first. Vikki hopes Billy will keep that in mind when she makes her next request.
Abby and Nina tearfully/silently read their respective letters. Chance promises to come home to the wife and Mother he loves (and the child he wants Abby to somehow work on in his absence)
Chance could be gone for years, Abby weeps. As directed by her letter, Nina offers support. We must keep on living as Chance asks. Make him a Father, me a grandmother.
Amanda confides that she only heard Billy’s side. He felt that he couldn’t live up to Vikki’s standards – to be like her Father. She felt he was blaming her unfairly for his problems. Lily now understands where Vikki’s coming from – thank you.
Elena doesn’t want to cause Nate any more pain. Devon doesn’t want to either – but their night together was worth it. We don’t have to tell anybody what happened. The spell is broken when Devon gets a text from Amanda. About to exit the patio, Elena smiles at a text she’s just received.
Best case scenario, the kids adore Lily – so what happens when you break up? Vikki asks. Excuse me? Billy’s taken aback. Citing his track record, Vikki just wants Billy to be smart, be sure – the kids have been through enough upheaval. He agrees.
Tablet in hand, Nina wastes no time looking up donors; a good distraction, she insists. Abby doesn’t see the sense with Chance gone. Babies mean hope to Nina – and love. Make this baby happen. Both admit to being scared. Abby doesn’t know what to do. Nina continues to pressure her.

Vikki calls Hannah. Under the impression that Billy will be coming alone to visit the kids this afternoon, she cancels her 3 o’clock meeting.
