Over Mimosas, Nina tells Chris that the wedding was beautiful – she’s never seen Chance so happy. Ronan was half way around the world so couldn’t get there in time. She doesn’t think it the right time to return to GC, Nina wants to let Chance start his married life (plus, she is hoping to win an Oscar) When Lauren joins them, more sappy words are exchanged.
Don’t let him get to you – be patient, Lily cautions Billy. Adam set me up, he’s 100% sure. Lily’s not so sure – there’s a lot of moving parts. Nothing’s too twisted for Adam – he put needles in his eyes to fake blindness, Billy has no doubts he’d take a bullet to frame him.
Kevin doesn’t understand why Chloe’s bouncing off the walls – you told Chelsea the truth. If she takes Adam back, it’s because their sick bond is too strong to break. Chloe feels she pushed her best friend away and would do anything to take it all back.
Chelsea wants to move closer to Connor’s school. We need to leave, Adam agrees – but there’s one last thing he needs to take care of – sort things out with his Father. Why? Chelsea doesn’t understand. It’s about Connor, is all Adam will say. Pack me a bag and we’ll leave as soon as I get back, he promises as he exits.
Lily doesn’t think Adam set Billy up – who else you got? Victor? No – he wouldn’t have someone take a shot at his own son. Nick? Lily gives a quick no. Both watch Rey leave with Mike. That can’t be good, Billy quips.
Putting a few things in a bag, Chelsea gets Chloe’s voicemail (so doesn’t see a call from an unknown number on the phone Adam presumably left behind)
Getting a text from Adam, Victor’s at Vikki’s office (guess he wants to see us – but for what?) You think he’s coming here to thank you for locking him up? Vikki’s skeptical – but won’t leave her Dad to face Adam alone. Hello son, Victor says when he walks in.
Reminiscing about Danny Romalotti’s Rock On video amongst other things, Nina’s sad to report it’s time to go. Lauren and Chris about to leave too, Nina can’t help thinking about the bastard who shot Chance. Mike will put him away, Lauren reassures.
At ChanceCom, Lily wonders if Billy’s distracted by whatever Mike said to Rey at Society. It could have been anything, Billy claims he’s ‘more than OK’.
Coming down from a tea party with Bella, Kevin’s still wearing his tiara when Chloe returns Chelsea’s call (and leaves a message – call me when you can)
Again packing, Chelsea winces from the pain of a sudden but acute headache.
Adam’s at NE to make a deal – he and Chelsea are leaving town. He’d like another copy of the contract Vikki made up. He’ll sign it on one condition; Connor gets an inheritance from Victor.
Looks like you had a good time with the gals, Mike comments to a tipsy Lauren (now at Society) Our anniversary is coming up – wanna get a head start on celebrating? Lauren asks. Waiter! Check please! Mike shouts.
Left to debate, Vikki’s sure that Billy’s innocent. Victor’s still pissed about that outrageous expose but will let justice play out. Vikki now wonders if her Dad’s the one behind the shooting. If he’s framing the Father of her kids, she won’t forgive Victor.
Rey’s at ChanceCom to place Billy under arrest for the attempted murder of Philip Chancellor – anything you say can and will be used against you, etc. etc.
Chelsea, I’m back like I promised! Adam bellows as he enters the penthouse – then is alarmed to find Chelsea unconscious on the staircase.
