Did Kevin send you? Chloe asks Ester. She continues to whine about her son not coming out and looks forward to a smooth, uncomplicated entrance – with Kevin at her side. Ester remembers giving birth to Chloe right on that staircase, during a storm, with only Mrs C at her side.

The number of patients who came in tonight took a toll on Elena. Devon’s glad Nate was there to help – he’s proud of Elena. I’m so lucky you’re mine ~hug~ I’m so sorry, she weeps over his shoulder. I’m just tired, she goes upstairs. Good night, I love you, Devon gives her a kiss and is left to look puzzled. Elena pauses on the staircase to look devastated and guilty.
