Now at ChanceCom, Amanda’s all business – but with very little encouragement blurts out that Hilary’s her twin. I’ve lost a twin sister I didn’t know I had and probably my brother in law too.

Theo’s on the phone talking about a big story. He has no details but it’ll be perfect for you. Don’t make me wait too long for your answer ~click~ When he takes a seat at Society’s bar, Chelsea strikes up a conversation. Last time she saw Theo she and her friend declined the drinks he sent over. She’ll make it up to him – buy me a drink right now.

Adam’s packing up when Chance drops by the motel wanting to talk. Last time we talked you ratted me out to Chelsea, Adam grumbles – before informing that they worked it out and he’s going home. Chance’s glad. Adam admits he was pissed that Chance told Chelsea about Sharon (we weren’t having an affair by the way) Now, he realizes Chance was acting as his friend. When Chance wants to talk about their mutual problem, Adam will only say that he’s handling it. That’s not good enough – Chance isn’t going anywhere until he gets some real answers.

Knowing Amanda must be going through a lot of emotions right now, Billy asks if there’s anything he can do. Yes – stick to our deal not to discuss our personal lives. Billy’s sorry that disqualifies him from being a friend but will respect Amanda’s boundaries. Wait, you’re right – I need a friend.

No fistfight – Chance just wants an honest conversation. The past is the past, Adam wants to move forward and thinks Chance should do the same. Chance knows a con when he sees one – Vegas isn’t an old problem, it’s a current one. Don’t push me, Adam warns. Or what? Chance has tried to be Adam’s friend. No one will judge you based on what happened when you were a kid – but Vegas is a different story. Back the hell off, Adam snarls.

Over drinks at Society, Chelsea laughs about Theo’s date drugging everyone at TGP launch party. Planning to revive her fashion line, she asks if Theo would like to be her social media liaison. Theo’s flattered but works exclusively for ChanceCom. But – he might be able to get some of ChanceCom’s media outlets to run a few promos. That’s so generous, Chelsea flirts – it’s like fate brought us together.

Taking Elena’s hand, Devon can’t take back what he said but is sorry she heard it that way. Elena blames Amanda for bringing up all the feelings Devon fought to move on from. Now she’s trying to build this bond with you. I’m the only person she can talk to, Devon points out. Elena doesn’t blame Amanda for wanting to know more about Hilary but what you’ve told her has to be enough. I don’t want her coming back for more!

Amanda’s sorry for being a sloppy, weepy mess. I’m not that person. I’m always in control. Billy thinks that her first mistake – our lives are just a bunch of bombs we try to duck from. This is a pretty big bomb, Amanda’s encouraged to share whatever emotions she wants to. The reality of being Hilary’s twin is overwhelming – her heart is so full; yet so sad. After a lifetime of no connection to anyone, I finally find my sister – but I’ll never know her. When Billy suggests that Devon can tell her more, Amanda’s doubtful Elena will allow it. The door that was open has been slammed shut. We’ll keep digging – a lot of other people knew Hilary, Billy vows that they’ll uncover every rock until Amanda knows everything there is to know.

When Chelsea told him what happened when Adam was a kid, Chance felt for his friend. That’s in the past – Vegas isn’t, he reiterates. We took care of a man who would have killed you, Adam sums it up. Chance doesn’t want him to cross any more lines. You’re way too late for that, Adam remarks.

Lola eavesdrops as a flirtatious Chelsea asks Theo to continue their conversation at ChanceCom – and looks even more devastated when they happily leave together.

You’re a good friend but Amanda still hesitates in confiding personal stuff to Billy. But now convinced, she’s all in.

Amanda can find the answers herself. Devon agrees – he’s done his part. We can move on with our lives. As he hugs Elena, both look depressed and neither hear Devon’s phone ringing (a call from Amanda)

When Mariah comes to order food at Society, Lola whines that Theo left with Chelsea. Mariah doubts anything’s going on between those two. Maybe there’s a logical explanation as to why they left together. Lola doesn’t know how much longer she can put up with this.

At ChanceCom, Theo assumes Billy’s in a meeting and Lily’s gone for the night. As Theo’s fetching her water for her suddenly scratchy throat, Chelsea hides a listening device. What’s going on here? Billy appears to ask.

Chance tells Adam that he’s not in private practice anymore – he’s on the GCPD. He can’t cross any lines and whatever’s left of this friendship takes a backseat to the law. So be it – but that goes both ways, Adam says as he grabs his bag and marches out.
