Victor’s been bending over backwards trying to get the family to give Adam another chance. What were you thinking? Adam wanted to see how far Vikki and Nick would go to get rid of him. All you’ve done is further alienate them, Victor knows that Vikki wouldn’t embezzle and Nick will never give up that boy. Adam agrees on both counts but he is serious about finding Chelsea and Connor. Victor understands but this isn’t the way to go about it. You have a better way? Adam asks.
At Dark Horse, Vikki updates Nick that she told Dad Adam would leave GC if we paid him off. Adam walked in and admitted it. Dad then dismissed her. He probably scolded Adam then forgave him. Maybe they both think they can manipulate the other. One thing’s for sure – Adam’s not going anywhere. It’ll get ugly. There’s no telling how far he’ll go to get what he wants.
Books now in place on the new bookcase, Kyle admits that cooking and DIY aren’t his forte. He’s good at other things. Like what? IPO’s, hockey, dressing well – and I can quote every line of Caddyshack. Suitably impressed, Lola initiates a kiss and the clothes start coming off.
Back behind his desk, Jack takes out Claire’s business card and is about to call her when he changes his mind and calls Lauren instead. He has business to discuss – how about a drink tonight? Excellent – I’ll be in touch ~click~
Vikki’s made a beeline to Jabot to complain to Billy about the way her Father’s treating her (in favour of Adam; the heir to the throne) It’s infuriating. Billy agrees – you’ve devoted your life to NE – ran the company when Victor went off to Dubai, Vegas etc. I’m reliable, predictable where Adam’s ruthless, Vikki whines. Refusing to take this lying down, she’s going to show the boys her ruthless side.
Pondering a framed photo of Christian, Nick makes a call – can you meet me at my place? It’s about Christian.
Victor never gave up looking for Chelsea but she covered her tracks and the trail has gone cold. Let’s heat it up again, Adam suggests. Victor will put more resources on it. That boy (Connor) should be here, part of the family. What about Christian? Adam asks. If I stay will you help me be a Father to him too? If you do that for me Dad, I’m all yours.
My Thoughts: What a stupid place for a bookcase. Why not get a taller, skinnier one that would actually fit in the spot and not have to be placed awkwardly on an angle. And does anyone even use cookbooks anymore? Any recipe imaginable is online. Lola could save her favourites and original recipes to her tablet. Hard to think of Rey’s kitchenette as a gourmet chef’s kitchen. There’s barely any cabinet or counter space. And if Rey’s moved out, why are his tools still in the closet? Does Sharon even know who’s living on her property? Maybe she should charge more rent now that there’s two people using utilities, water etc. Then again, I guess she wasn’t notified when Mia moved in – or Lola … While I’d love to see a storyline for Mike and Lauren, I sure hope it’s not her cheating with Jack … Vikki has only herself to blame. She could leave NE and get a top-level position at Dark Horse any time… Any guesses as to who Nick called to have meet him at his place? I’m guessing Chelsea. If so, he better tell her that he’s moved. Otherwise, she might get quite a shock if she knocks on the front door of the tackhouse.
