Jack and Claire are in synch as she shares a ‘brilliant’ business idea that includes him coming to Chicago to meet her team. No need, Jack’s already sold – but backs off when Claire admits that Lauren set them up (and there was no leak at the apartment)

Nick and Vikki have been summoned to NE for an update. Adam’s shooter hasn’t been found but Victor’s beefed up security at the ranch. When Abby arrives, he thanks her for coming – then announces that the trauma has restored Adam’s memory. Victor’s asked them all there (including Nikki) in hopes they’ll make Adam him feel welcome.

Adam describes how his memories were lurking in the days before he was shot. He knows about Delia and is eager to leave GC and everyone who hates him (with good reason) behind. It’ll be best for everyone if I leave. Paul then arrives to hear the good news. Still holding Sharon’s hand, Adam asks her to bring him his phone. That leaves Paul to ask Adam if he saw who shot him. No, but he has a pretty good idea who it was.

Paul doubts Adam’s theory that one of his Vegas enemies followed him to GC. If it’s a sore loser, why didn’t they take the money? Who knew you were back in GC? Adam provides a long list – but is still sure ‘Spider’ was the target.

Jack appreciates the invite but is tied to his desk right now. Understanding, Claire hands over a business card with her ‘personal line’. After she sashays out, Jack blows out a gust of air as he looks at the card.

Nick speaks for his sisters – we’re all happy Adam’s alive and has regained his memory. Nikki speaks for Victor – he was skeptical of Adam’s memory loss too. Nick’s reminded that he and Adam were in a good place before the explosion. And Vikki’s reservations sound more like Billy’s to Victor. Abby agrees with her siblings – instead of finding out who he was, ‘Spider’ chose a shady profession playing cards. When Victor claims to be disappointed that his family is so judgemental, Nick warns that they may never make amends with Adam.
