If Adam’s to accept who he is, he must know everything – not just bits and pieces. You had no right to keep this from me. I killed someone! It was an accident, Victor hands Adam a drink. Tell that to Billy, Adam confirms that Victor left the photo. Push forward, you’ll discover everything about yourself eventually, Victor remains calm. Not sure he wants to, Adam leaves.
When Abby checks on Vikki and Billy, she gripes about Dad not loving his kids equally. Failing to placate Abby, Vikki rejoins Billy conflicted- she’s relieved Adam’s alive but can’t help but feel resentment. That’s because your Dad just sprung this on everyone, Billy’s not comfortable defending Adam. Looking into his eyes, it all came flooding back. Holding Delia at the side of the road begging her not to leave me.
Rey and Sharon kiss. Oh, how they’ve missed one another while apart for one whole day. Lola’s OK with no charges being laid against Mia – she and the baby are OK, he updates – a paternity test has been done. How about Adam? Rey asks. That can wait, Sharon kissing him is interrupted when Adam comes knocking at the door – can I come in? he looks exhausted.
Leaving Society, Billy assures Vikki that everything will work out – Adam knows Victor’s dealing from the bottom of the deck so will cut his losses and head back to Vegas.
Rey and Adam shake hands. I came at a bad time, Adam’s sorry. Understanding that he needs someone to talk to, Rey gives Sharon a kiss then leaves Adam to again apologize then update that he met Billy. I ran over a little girl and left her in the road to die! There’s more to it, Sharon knew Adam when he wanted to be a better person and that he was remorseful over Delia’s death. Is that who I am? Adam seems lost. It’s who you CAN be, Sharon encourages.
Looking out of his office window, a testy Victor leaves Nick yet another a message demanding he call him back.
Next: Adam’s family reunion is short lived … Vikki makes a decision about her relationship with Billy.
My Thoughts: Sharon sure has a bad habit of letting herself into other people’s houses and it’s ridiculous for her to be so surprised that Adam didn’t lock his front door. If he had, he’d be the only person in GC to ever care about home security and locking doors. Oddly enough, 15 minutes later, he races off to meet Vikki without giving a rats ass about his bag of money or locking his front door – even though he knows someone was in ‘his’ home. If he was that concerned, he could call down to the security guardhouse and ask the guards to have a look at the security footage. The Newman compound has cameras all over the place. I vaguely recall Abby not taking Arturo to the tackhouse because her Daddy would see when he arrived and left.. Victor sounded just like Darth Vader when leaving his message – Nick – this is your Fah-ther …. Abby hasn’t sworn off all men – she just doesn’t seem to be interested in Nate; with good reason – there’s absolutely NO chemistry between the pair… Why does the attack on Lola keep getting referred to as an accident? It was a deliberate assault; the charge was attempted murder. Paul’s excuse for not charging Rey is flimsy enough but there’s no reason not to pursue charges against Mia. And why is he making these decision on Christine’s behalf. Wouldn’t the DA like to at least interview Mia herself before dropping such serious charges as attempted murder. And since when is losing a low paying job and cheating wife adequate punishment for attempted murder? And Rey MIGHT lost his relationship with his brother? Big deal – when was the last time Paul even mentioned his brothers? … Victor tells Adam that he’ll learn everything about himself ‘eventually’ – seemingly ignoring the danger he could be unleashing; Adam’s a risk to himself and others. He should be under a psychiatrists care – not finding photos scattered around of a girl he killed to jog his memory with only Sharon’s armchair psychology as a safety net if he becomes unhinged. And why would Adam wait to find out how evil he is ‘eventually’ when he can just ask around or Google for results instantly?
