Arturo talks business with Nick, hears that Abby’s working from home – then apologizes for last night. Having also had a mistake blow up publicly, Nick’s in no position to judge (though sleeping with his Mom and Rey’s wife doesn’t exactly instill confidence) Arturo will find a way to fix things with Abby. Nick won’t with Sharon – he’s moving forward. Now alone, Arturo’s sending Abby a text when Mia appears in the boardroom – we’re not done.
Abby thanks Jack for not judging her. Both miss her Mom ~hug~ And now Abby’s going to fight for what’s hers.
Mariah’s horrified to hear that JT’s body was gone by the time they went to move it. There’s no way Tessa would have done it, she’s sure. And she won’t go to the cops. No one else trusts Tessa, so Mariah must find the footage and what Tessa knows. Play along until we get a plan together. Fine, Mariah will win Tessa back. No time like the present, Sharon nudges her out. Somewhat satisfied with the way things went, the ladies are about to leave when Phyllis says the meeting isn’t over yet.
In his office, Nick deletes the text asking Phyllis whether she’s decided to move in with him.
In the boardroom, Arturo asks Mia to leave. She saw the look in his eye earlier – we have a chemical attraction. Arturo reminds Mia that she came here to be with Rey. She knows he’s not happy with his cookie-cutter blonde. Abby appears in the doorway to say that Mia’s stunt was cheap and tacky – just like you are – and chasing after Arturo while claiming you want to reconcile your marriage. This is going to get embarrassing – consider this a favour and a warning, Abby’s fierceness has Arturo wide-eyed – while Mia tries to keep her smile in place.
Tessa needs to be stopped, Phyllis announces. Nikki and Sharon wonder what that means. She’s right, Vikki was the one who got them into this mess – she’s the one who’ll get them out. Leave it to me!
