Mariah hates the timing; hearing Summer babble the night before the wedding. No, after the wedding would be worse, Sharon disagrees. Mariah offers to go to the church and postpone the wedding. No, Sharon plans to go ahead with it and pretend this conversation never happened. If that’s what you want, Mariah agrees – but still thinks her Mom needs time…. On cue, Summer drops by to see if everything’s under control and is sceptical when Sharon forces a smile and claims ‘never better’.
The first to arrive, Billy and Phyllis find Vikki fussing with flowers at the church. She heard what happened at Jabot earlier and wants Billy to be healthy. He’s ready for rehab and recovery and regrets his behaviour. Vikki knows it’s the addiction and is proud that Billy plans to kick this and be the Father Katie and Johnny deserve.
Jack takes a look at the vows Nick’s ‘tweaking’. See anything I should change? Jack hands the paper back – Sharon will love it. We’ve been through so much but Nick now feels that everything’s finally falling into place. Jack’s never seen Nick so … awake. You earned this life. Now, let’s get going. Never, ever disappoint the bride. Happy wife, happy life, Nick chuckles.
As Sharon helps Faith get ready, Summer assumes that Mariah kept her mouth shut after all. Yes, and you better too, Mariah warns. Either way, Summer’s sure that Nick and Sharon’s marriage won’t last. Sharon then sends the three girls ahead so she can get ready by herself. Giving her Mom a worried look, Mariah follows Faith and Summer out.
Nick carries Christian into the church to chat with Vikki while Jack goes to check with the Minister. And surprise – here’s Victor (Nikki thought Nick would appreciate the gesture) Shaking Nick’s hand, Victor wishes Noah was here. After Faith greets everyone, Summer takes Nick aside to say that she loves him and won’t do anything to ruin the wedding. I love you ~hug~ Aside, Phyllis tells Billy that she plans to be civil to Victor (since Nick can) Summer interrupts their kiss to ask how Phyllis got Billy here. ‘She just asked’, he then apologizes for the things he said to Summer. Nick’s surprised to hear that Sharon didn’t come with Mariah and hopes she gets there soon. Nikki and Vikki share a concerned look.
