When Phyllis again claims they ladies are meeting for the sake of charity, Paul asks what the cause is and gets different answers simultaneously. Nikki wants the park to be a showpiece for the county. Paul asks how they’re dealing with JT appearing and disappearing – you must all wonder what he came back for. Vikki was terrified. Have you seen him? Paul wonders. Vikki hasn’t. All four women accept that they may never see JT again. Paul has a theory about that.
Neil wants Lily to give Devon some space. It doesn’t matter if Lily needs to talk to him – think about what HE needs. As Mariah returns with a folder, all fall silent as Devon arrives.
Devon’s all business but Neil wants him to relax a bit. When their Dad steps aside to take a call, Lily’s attempt to speak to Devon are rejected. He’s not happy to see that Neil hid a photo of Hilary – or that Lily had the nerve to show her face at the office today. We’re leaving now, Mariah pulls Devon out – leaving Neil to give Lily an ‘I told you so’ look.
Paul shares his theory – JT came back to GC to see Victor but something or someone stopped him. You think Victor did something to JT!? Nikki’s indignant that Paul’s accusing her husband of harming his grandson’s Father. Paul’s not accusing Victor of anything – but he did threaten JT on live TV so it’s a logical conclusion. After more choice words from Nikki and Phyllis, Paul leaves saying he just wants justice. When Phyllis marches out too, the three remaining ladies are left to worry that she was serious about being perfectly OK with Paul blaming Victor for whatever happened to JT. Inside, Phyllis makes a call – I need to talk to you about something important.
Devon updates Mariah on what happened after the funeral. No, she can’t fix things between him and Hilary. Now, what’s going on with Tessa? She’ll be back, Mariah’s sure – until then, she’ll pick up the slack. Right now, she’s more concerned with convincing Devon to forgive Lily. She got exactly what she wanted, Devon gets a supportive hug.
Still on the patio, Sharon blabs to Nikki and Vikki that Phyllis suggested they say that they weren’t in the room that night. She said you guys would have a team of lawyers. Sharon refused – we all need to stick together. Vikki’s left to look forward to visiting Reed for a week. Nikki tells her not to worry about Paul or Phyllis. She has as much to lose as we do.
Phyllis lets Nick in; the only person she can trust. She can’t stop thinking about their recent romp but when Nick thinks being there is a bad idea, assures him that she can control herself.
