Back at the house for tea, Jill learns why Mrs Martinez had to let them in. Jack didn’t lose his key – he moved out after hearing he wasn’t John Abbott’s son.
Still at the office, Vikki calls Abby to update her that Dad’s meeting JT. Nikki has Nick on speakerphone. No, he has no idea where Victor’s meeting JT but since he didn’t promise Dad anything (and he’s already mad at him) he’ll be the one to call the police. It’s urgent – there’s no telling what JT might do, Vikki adds.
A gloved hand removes a gun from a safe.
Tessa understands if Mariah wants to leave but an outdoor movie sounds like fun. There is wine and popcorn, Mariah agrees.
Kyle’s surprised to come home to find Jill and Jack still at the house. We came back to get her car, Jack explains. Jill’s decided to let Kyle off the hook (thanks to Jack) Both are about to leave when a courier arrives with an envelope for Kyle (and mentions that it’s lab results) What the hell!? Jill marches over to him.
This meeting could be anywhere, Nikki leaves Paul a message – she and Vikki are sick with worry. Please call me. Nikki’s prays that Victor took his cell phone and that the police can reach him before it’s too late.
Victor arrives at the meeting spot in a dark alley and checks his watch. A figure wearing a hoodie emerges. It’s JT. Victor’s been waiting for this moment – to end this.
Next week: In the patio, Mariah holds Tessa’s hand. It feels like there’s a neon sign over our heads that says we’re not just friends…. Kissing Ashley, Neil unzips her dress and pulls away to smile. Ashley smiles back – what? … On the patio, Sharon tells Phyllis – we sit here and wait while JT could be telling Victor everything about that night … Victor accuses JT of being a coward; hiding in shadows. How the tables have turned.
My Thoughts: Philip may have been Jill’s first love – but she only considers him the love of her life because he didn’t live long enough for the usual soap drama. Jill also has a very low bar apparently (Colin’s got a long list of crimes/sins/flaws since leaving his Aussie mob to come to the US to kidnap Cane’s twins and concluding with stealing Jill’s money) I guess Jill couldn’t very well say that John was the love of her life; certainly not to his son who she cheated with) … If Kyle was so drunk, ‘buzzed’ and ‘out of control’ why hasn’t anyone mentioned him getting behind the wheel of a car? I guess it would be a bit hypocritical of Jack to do so since he recently crashed his car while on a bender. Like Father, like son … Victor’s right about one thing – Paul is the last person who should be involved in his and JT’s confrontation …. Why are Mariah and Tessa’s reserved seats in the second row? Devon owns the place for crying out loud. He could have closed off the rooftop for a private screening or at least reserved seats in the front row.
