Hilary arrives to find the station filled with baby stuff (sent by her fans and hopeful sponsors) This pregnancy is great for ratings, Mariah suggests Hilary name her baby ‘Neilson’. Hilary wants any baby references taken out of the show. There’s no time, we go on in 5 minutes – just tell the viewers how excited you are, Mariah leaves Hilary to fret.
Now home, Dina talks to Kyle about her good friend Kay – she and her other friends seem to have disappeared. Well, Kyle’s not going anywhere. Abby joins them to hear that the outing was ‘delightful’. After Dina goes up to lay down, Abby thanks Kyle for making Dina happy – whatever you’re doing, keep it up.
As the show begins, Mariah raves about all the ‘swag’ Hilary’s received for her baby. Hilary has something she wants to say – it’s not easy living life in front of a camera. There are consequences to sharing your personal life. Like all this swag? Mariah interrupts. Near tears, Hilary thanks everyone – I’m overwhelmed. As Mariah goes on and on about all the bee-inspired baby gifts, Devon arrives.
Back at the ranch, Nikki updates Victor that Vikki’s well – did anything interesting happen here? She’s surprised to hear that Victor called Arturo over because he doesn’t trust him on a project this size. Miffed, Nikki’s capable of making her own decisions. If you keep him around, there’ll be trouble, Victor warns.
Guests all gone, Reed thanks his Mom. Yes, he’s said goodbye to the kids. Will you miss my dirty socks and music? Yes, Vikki tears up – she’s sorry for getting his hopes up about her and JT reconciling. I love you ~hug~
Spotting Sharon at the bar, Phyllis sends Billy to go get a table. He doesn’t know whether to be jealous or turned on. Phyllis joins Sharon to order her club soda instead of another wine – and warn her to keep her mouth shut (or she’ll have her put in the psych ward) Sharon’s left to look horrified by Phyllis’ threat to put her in a straight jacket herself.
Next week: What is the newly expectant Mother-to-be hiding? Mariah asks on camera (as Devon watches in the wings) … Kyle tells Billy that if they want to put the family right again, they need to remove Jabot’s blood-only clause … On the patio, Nikki and Phyllis worry about Sharon going to the cops – we’re all gonna end up in prison … Victor tells Sharon that he’ll find JT if it’s the last thing he does.
My Thoughts: Kinda pathetic that Vikki (worth at least half a billion) wouldn’t throw Reed a better going away party – maybe gather his school friends at the family owned Top of the Tower. She didn’t even invite Rick (the kid whose house he ran off to sleep over at last week) And why would Reed transfer to a new school so close to the end of the year? He only has two months left! Nice that Reed and Mattie cleared the air before he left. He’s right – he was a jerk. Mattie seems to have bounced back quickly considering how devastated she was when they broke up. Back to Reed’s going away party – how long did it last? A half hour? … Why on earth would Abby want to be invited to a party that includes Nikki, Sharon, Vikki and Phyllis? If she wants a girls’ night out, she should call Lily … How long will Hilary pretend to be pregnant – and will she send all the gifts back? Fortunately, there’s no babies due that she can steal.
