Jack’s first thought was to see if Nikki’s OK (he left messages for her) Paul also gets voicemail (because Nikki’s busy in bed with Arturo) Paul instructs Henderson to find Mrs Newman – she might know who wanted to harm Victor. Who doesn’t have a grudge against that guy? Jack states the obvious.
Nick’s sorry he got carried away. Why? Sharon got just as carried away. Guess it’s good I’m leaving, Nick decides. Is it? Sharon can’t help but wonder if there’s something still between them. If so, maybe you shouldn’t leave.
Dressed for a summer evening at the beach, Dina asks Ashley to have the car brought around – she’ off to the club for her diving lesson. It’s late, the club’s closed, Abby and Ashley inform. The camera rolling, Dina talks about a brief fling with John’s accountant. But there was another fella at the country club; all the girls want him but he chose me. You think he’s Jack’s Father? Abby asks. Yes, he is – you won’t tell John, will you? Dina can’t remember his name but give me a moment – I couldn’t forget him if I tried. Sitting quietly, out of Dina’s line of vision, Ashley watches on.
Nikki and Arturo are busy beneath the sheets when Nick comes banging on the suite door. What are you doing here?! a robe-clad Nikki is alarmed to hear that Victor’s been attacked and is at GCM. OMG! Rushing off to dress, Nikki agrees that Arturo should stay put.
Dina upstairs resting, Ashley still doesn’t believe that Jack’s the product of another affair. It’s a false memory; a trick Dina’s mind is playing on her. This disease is awful, she hugs Abby. She might be thinking of Brent Davis. We need to let this go and not bring it up again. Jack comes in to update that he did indeed go to the ranch. I’m fine – Victor isn’t.
