Sharon joins Jack at the club’s bar for a drink. Hearing that she asked Nick to move out, Jack didn’t even know he moved in. Sharon won’t be taken for granted – won’t give and give without any recognition. She’s more angry at herself than Nick.
JT’s eager to announce the wedding to the kids. Vikki will bake a cake – and she also has an idea. Better I show you – be right back, she runs upstairs.
Nikki texts Arturo – can you meet me later? ‘C U soon ‘is the instant reply. Victor appears to ask why Nikki’s so happy. She’s going into town for a meeting that might run late. Planning to stay at the club, she goes to pack a bag. Victor then calls JT to ask that he come to the office in the morning at 9 am. Oh wait – I’m going to Chicago tonight so make it 11 am. After JT hangs up, Vikki brings down her old engagement ring. JT puts it on her finger and gives her a kiss. Vikki then gets a text from Nikki – she wants to drop by. JT’s fine with that – it’ll give him a chance to go get some champagne. Ready to leave the ranch, Victor gets a call – send it to me immediately, he orders ~click~
After Ashley leaves, Abby’s left alone with Dina (who has a few things to get off her chest – about John)
Nick thought Sharon would be excited about the housing-project meeting and when he lists everyone who attended, Mariah immediately gets it – Sharon inspired you (and the whole idea) by taking in a homeless family and you didn’t take her to the meeting. Ah! Nick now gets it and wonders how he can make it up to Sharon.
Updating Jack about Nick, Sharon thinks it Jack’s turn to vent. She assumes it’s about Victor. He’s a self-absorbed bully, an egomaniac – a sonofabitch, Jack drinks and rubs his head. People get sucked in and lured to the dark side. When will that bastard finally get what’s coming to him? Jack polishes off his drink and is stunned to look up and see Ashley.
When Nikki drops by the house, she immediately spots the ring on Vikki’s hand. What does this mean!? It means be happy for me, Vikki smiles.
Creeping into the ranch with his flashlight, JT unlocks the drawer in the chess table and pulls out an envelope. Upstairs – NOW! Victor appears to command.
No, Vikki’s not rushing things with JT – we do have a teenage son together. Nikki thinks it happenstance – JT wouldn’t even be here if Paul hadn’t summoned him to GC. Vikki thinks it fate – everything’s sharper, she feels a constant rush of excitement and energy – never knowing what’s coming next. JT is the one person Vikki trusts to tell her the truth. No, she’s not leaning on him too much and doesn’t need anyone telling her otherwise. As Vikki flounces off to the kitchen, Nikki’s left to look concerned.
JT plods into Victor’s home office and hands over the envelope. You weren’t going to Chicago, he realizes this was a setup. You don’t know who you’re up against, Victor then shows JT the video – this is YOU putting your hands on my daughter! How long have you been spying on me? JT asks. As long as you’ve been spying on me – trying to take me and my company down! Victor growls. Are you working for Paul and Chris? They’ve been trying to take me down for years. JT’s wanted to take Victor down for years too – Colleen’s dead because of you! Only a weak man would hide behind a dead girl AND put hands on my daughter! Pack and leave tonight or I’ll remove you myself! Victor shouts.
