Lily’s all set up for her casting call (with help from the twins) Hey Billy – what are you doing here? He’s there to ask Lily if she’s going to Walnut Grove’s centennial bash. Raul and Britney might be there (Mac probably won’t go) Between giving the kids instructions, Lily informs that she is going to the reunion – there’ll probably be lots of drama.

Vikki thinks JT should go to the reunion – it might be fun. Who knows who’ll be there? Well, Colleen won’t be, JT pouts – and what if Mac shows up? Vikki still thinks he should go – give your old classmates a thrill. JT would rather leave the past where it belongs.

Back at CL’s, Phyllis relays the evening she saw Nikki going upstairs with an attractive young man – the next day she came down in the same clothes and a big smile. Nick struggles with the idea of his Mom doing ‘the walk of shame’. What’s she thinking? Phyllis shrugs it off – you cheated, I cheated, she reminds. Yes, Nick knows who the guy is – his contractor. Dad won’t take this well. Then you have to help your Mom keep it from him, Phyllis replies.

All set up for her casting call, Lily says it’s been nice having Billy here – for no reason (hint, hint) Oh, you’re here to see the models, she realizes and invites Billy to stay (to provide feedback)

Vikki has to pick Reed up at the ranch; he’s playing chess with Victor (who’s also waiting for her answer) JT thinks she should take more time with her decision – he’ll go fetch Reed. Vikki’s left smiling.

Over coffee, Nick worries about how pissed off his Dad will be. Still seeing the humour in it, Phyllis thinks Nikki will get bored with her ‘side piece’. OK, she’ll change the subject – how are you and Christian? He asks about Connor and Chelsea every day, Nick sighs – it’s just me and Christian now. Phyllis knows Sharon would like to step right in. Nick’s annoyed again – Sharon’s a friend; not Christian’s new Mommy. OK, Phyllis will back off on that – but how are you with Christian’s paternity? It hurts – but Nick needed to know. Sadly, he can’t watch out for Connor as he promised Adam but Christian will always be my kid. The secret left town with Chelsea (if everyone who knows keeps their promise)

Victor continues to coach Reed. In this game, and in life, never give anything away; no hints, no tells. Keep your strategy to yourself. Nothing is more powerful than a secret if you hang onto it long enough.

Aside, the twins observe that Billy looks really nervous. He doesn’t know what he’s in for does he? Lily then informs Billy that the models will be topless. Yes, of course Billy can ‘handle it’. Lily and the twins smirk when the models file in – male models.

When JT arrives at the ranch, Reed quickly gets up. Kindly sit down, Victor comments that even Faith wouldn’t walk away in the middle of a chess game. JT agrees – enjoy the game while I make a few calls. JT heads upstairs and puts on latex gloves for some snooping in Victor’s home office. Checkmate, Victor says – with more advise – always try to think three moves forward. Upstairs, JT takes a photo of a safe he comes across. Vikki calls – is my Dad giving you a hard time? No – see you soon, JT hangs up. As Reed’s busy looking at the chess board, Victor sneaks upstairs to ask JT what he’s doing (now in the hall)

Thanks for coming guys, Lily tells the men as they file out. The twins are ready to leave too but no – now comes the hard part; bookings. Billy did see a few standouts depending on the campaign. I might just poach you away from Chancellor, Lily jokes.

JT claims that he had to step away to take a Newman business call. How’d the game go? Victor thinks Reed could use a better poker face. He’ll get it – it’s in his genes, JT says as he thanks Victor and heads downstairs. Suspicious, Victor opens the door to his office to take a quick peek inside.

Nick’s summoned his Mom to the club – what’s going on with you and Arturo? Oh, that – we’ve been discreet, Nick’s told not to worry about his Father, we have a ‘don’t ask-don’t tell’ arrangement. Mind blown, Nick wonders why his parents are together. Nikki explains that it’s for ‘practicalities’. Your Father and I have separate bedrooms and social schedules. This is what we want. Nick still worries that his Mom might get hurt by Victor and/or Arturo.

Reed gripes to JT about his Grandpa – there’s no ‘hanging out’, it’s always a lesson or lecture. Chess sucks – it’s slow and boring. JT advises Reed to play along; just don’t take Victor’s life lessons to heart. Leaving the ranch, JT looks troubled as he casts a glance up the staircase.

Lily’s at her desk sorting through headshots when the twins come in to provide feedback and a gift. They were so impressed seeing their Mom in action that they bought her a nameplate for her desk that reads ‘the boss’. Awwww ~Group hug~
