JT’s still at Vikki’s when Cane calls her because Lily’s not answering her phone. JT leaves the room to take a call from Billy (who’s pissed because he canceled a meeting) I had other stuff to take care of, important research pertaining to the meeting, JT lies. Where are you really? Billy doesn’t like being lied to. You sound like a paranoid husband, JT hangs up to get back to the important work he was doing.
It’s brilliant! Nikki’s never been more proud of Nick (who’s still got the insurance money from Underground so will go halves with his Mom on their project) As the partners hug, Victor appears to hear that Nikki and Nick are buying the building Kathy was evicted from. Undeterred by Victor’s list of negatives, Nick and Nikki call each other partner several times before Nikki’s left to hope that Victor’s not pissed that she turned down his offer but accepted Nick as her partner. There’s something else you should know, Victor looks grim.

Since both have work, Vikki and JT seem about to reluctantly part ways for the day – if only they could stop kissing.
When Victor tattles on Vikki and JT, Nikki’s outraged – he’s not even divorced yet. Victor agrees – it’s a colossal mistake.
We can’t – we shouldn’t. It’s irresponsible, we’re adults. We can’t. Not now, JT and Vikki finally pull away from each other. When then? JT asks. Soon, Vikki answers. Not soon enough, JT leaves.
Cane shows up at the photo studio asking the photographer where Lily is. She left, the photographer doesn’t know where she went. A dejected Cane sits down, the bouquet of flowers beside him.
My Thoughts: Cane’s French is abysmal but Lily’s is quite good (to my untrained ear) … So, Noah just said ‘naw’ to the insurance money Nick offered him to open up his chain of clubs and is going to be a glorified maitre’d (that’s French you know) at his Grandpa’s clubs? How many times will GC’s elite give the downtrodden a helping hand? There’s day olds going to the homeless shelter, the Abbott-Winters Foundation for addicts and the HWG to promote diversity and minorities. Plus, Nikki supposedly does nothing but charity work. Why not choose one of her existing charities? How about the Nikki Newman MS research center? Nikki’s all gung ho to start a new project and buy a delapitated building because a homeless woman she encountered is named ‘Kathy’? What if that’s not her real name? Has anyone seen her ID? … Nikki doesn’t really have room to condemn her daughter for hooking up with JT because he’s not divorced yet.
