Michael cheerfully tells Victor the Newman audit came back clean. Police weren’t able to find anything that would suggest they had any involvement in the sex-trafficking case. Michael tells Victor that all they have left to go through is personal e-mails, which should be clean… right? Nikki joins the conversation, asking Michael to leave. Nikki threatens Victor to leave the park alone, and having her name cemented into the middle of the plaza will not do. Victor tries to school Nikki on the city’s growing population and says Katherine was vouched for the homeless. Nikki is disgusted, saying Katherine would not want her name plastered over an overpriced condo. Victor thinks his plan will stimulate the economy and do good for low income families, but Nikki disagrees, walking away.

Ashley rejects the offer, saying that Ravi is under a non-compete clause, meaning he can’t just leave Jabot. Vikki tells Ashley it doesn’t apply, since Newman is not in direct competition of Jabot. Michael corrects Vikki, Newman is Jabot’s competition, since they bought Brash & Sassy anyways. Ashley threatens to sue.
Hilary tells Jack that she doesn’t blame Ashley for the way she has been acting. Jack did leave Jabot after all. Hilary asks Jack to think about what he wants; to run Jabot, to care for his mother or neither? As she’s leaving for a meeting, Ravi asks if it was difficult for her to fight Vikki for him. She admits that all it took was threatening to sue.
