Zack denies he’d have left Abby to rot in the storage unit. He’d have sent help. Look at me Abby – look at us. We’re fated to be together. Abby wants nothing to do with you, Scott interrupts. Abby can speak for herself – she’s reconsidered things. Scott looks puzzled.
Thanking Ashley, Nick’s about to leave when Chelsea arrives at CL’s wanting to finish their discussion on the patio. Nick’s said all he has to say. Ravi then recognizes Chelsea as the woman whose photo was on the Hilary Hour. Everyone turns to look as Chelsea shouts – it’s me; the new scandal queen. In person. Who wants a selfie!? When Nick walks out, Chelsea follows.
The doctor makes the questions a bit harder by listing 3 objects Dina’s to repeat back to him. Now count backwards from 100 by 7’s. Dina tries to distract – the only numbers on her mind have dollar signs. The doctor writes in his book – now, what were those three objects again? Dina tears up – dammit. Jack calls a break.
Victor trusts Vikki and is quite satisfied with the way she’s handled this sensitive issue. Vikki also appreciates Neil’s opinion but stands by her decision. Neil worries that with Abby still missing, this could backfire on ‘us’. Victor’s sparing no expense to find Abby but won’t let his other employees down. Abby’s been on the brink before – she always comes back. Answering his phone, Victor asks – have you found my daughter?
Zack’s skeptical of Abby’s 180. Being trapped in that cubicle, Abby reevaluated her whole life. My family doesn’t love me. That’s garbage, Scott argues. No one came to rescue me, they don’t care, Abby doubts they know she’s missing. I really do love you, she tells Zack. I know you love me too. Let’s run away together, Zack can’t believe Abby’s family don’t value her. Let’s do it, Abby takes his hand and asks him not to kill Scott. If you want me, Scott stays alive.
Back at the penthouse, Chelsea can’t believe that Ashley, Ravi and everyone at CL’s recognized her from that photo. Nick’s not – and he’s more worried about Faith. She’s going to be upset but Chelsea’s sure they can smooth things over; she’s dealt with other stuff. Nick takes no comfort that his daughter’s been bombarded with controversy and worries what Faith will think about the insurance company suspecting he torched Underground (which living with a con artist won’t help) We both might get sent to prison.
Frustrated to get no news on Abby, Victor would like to get some business done – alone. In the hallway, Vikki asks Neil not to question her decisions, especially in front of her Father. Neil must express his opinions – he won’t keep his mouth shut; someone needed to speak for Abby. Vikki won’t be undermined. This is me – remember me? Neil knows who the boss is. I’m on your team. Vikki’s just trying to do her job – no one would bat an eye if a man was making these decisions. Kindly respect those decisions or get out of my way.
Time to resume, Jack takes a magazine away from Dina. The doctor again asks her to recite the three objects he asked her to remember. Dina can’t – she’s too distressed about Abby. The doctor will take that into consideration. One final thing – draw a clock with the time showing 9 o’clock. Looking over Dina’s shoulder, an alarmed Jack crumples up the paper and shakes the doctor’s hand – thank you very much (and hustles him out) Now alone with Dina, Jack assures his Mother that everything will be alright. Thank you darling, Dina chokes out through tears.
