Damn right Dina’s furious with Graham (who rants n raves about her kids rejecting her) All he cares about is Dina’s happiness. Graham then does a 180; Our family was ruined because of you – we lived in a car for a while! You were better off without him, Dina claims. Graham now calls Dina pathetic, needy and soulless. With a slap across the face, Dina’s done with Graham (and calling Jean-Marc in Paris) Give me my phone! she yelps when Graham grabs it. Suddenly weakening, Dina sinks to the floor – as Graham looks down at her.
Still at the station, Devon and Neil update Mariah on what transpired at Top of the Tower. Saying she’s tired, Mariah will let Devon and his Dad go to the club. Though it seemed she’d forgotten, Mariah assures Devon that she’s ready for (and looking forward to) their getaway to Chicago. After the boys leave, Hilary comes out to needle Mariah (who ‘obviously’ isn’t into Devon)
After Mike leaves, Billy confides to Phyllis that it does seem odd that John wasn’t Ashley’s biological Father. Clearly, she knew. Billy wishes she’d confided in him – but the one he’s angry at is Jack (HE should have told me) While Phyllis doesn’t believe in keeping secrets, Billy wonders if some things aren’t better left unsaid.
Jack updates that Dina’s writing Graham out of her will. Ashley knows she’ll wake up to a whole different reality tomorrow. Will people treat me differently? Daddy died believing I was his daughter. About to bring in a tea set, Abby and Traci look stunned.
Dina!? Graham bends down to check her pulse (or lack thereof) Phone in hand, he wonders what to do.
Next: Is something going on between you and Tessa? Sharon asks Mariah … There’s only one person I want to hear from and that’s Dina, Ashley tells Jack – I want to hear from her why we all have to go through this …. Putting the do not disturb sign on Dina’s door, Graham leaves her laying exactly as she fell.
My Thoughts: Weird that no one else at Top of the Tower pulled out their phone to record the evening’s fiasco (then someone could send it over to Hilary’s competition IF she had any of course) So THAT was the grand award ceremony? The recipient’s family is in charge of hosting it? Shouldn’t a representative of the committee, not the recipient’s brother be handing over that big ass paperweight? What if the Innovator of the Year didn’t have a brother willing or able to rent out an entire fancy restaurant? Do they just mail the award? … How stupid of Jack to leave his Mother alone in her suite for the night – with Graham just a few doors (or floors) away. Of course he’s going to try change her mind on writing him out of the will. Maybe Dina can give all her money away to the Abbott Winters Foundation too. Between her cash and Nick’s, the foundation should be able to eradicate addiction. That said, Nick should be donating to MS or an anti drinking-driving project in Cassie’s memory … Billy’s really going to try make this about him? Ashley didn’t confide in her sister or daughter either. I don’t remember how Jack came to find out but Kay also knew – and wait until Billy finds out that Victor’s known for years too. And whatever happened to Dina’s stepson Marc Mergeron? (the one Ashley, of course, fell for) Shouldn’t he be in on this inheritance talk? … So wait, is Vikki not even the slightest bit perturbed that her Father STOLE 500 million that a Judge awarded Nick? Does it not occur to her that Victor might take her money (or Abby’s) the next time they do something he disapproves of?
