Now home, Phyllis pours champagne and tries to get Billy to stop whining. She declares the apartment a Brash n Sassy free zone.
Lounging on a chair on the rooftop, Vikki’s reluctant to confide her troubles to Abby – but lets it all tumble out anyway. She goes over everything that happened after shooting the commercial in LA – Juliet’s pregnant – Cane’s a liar who sabotaged Billy and her company. Our last quarter was terrible, I’m tapped out, tired of fixing everything and feel all alone, she sobs on Abby’s shoulder.
Lily tries (but fails) to hide her tears when the kids come home. I hate to tell you this…. We’re here to help, Mattie and Charlie then turn to see Cane emerge with his luggage.
Seated with Scott and Sharon, Lauren suggests they get together with Mike for dinner. After she leaves, Sharon thinks it a start and is impressed by whatever Paul said to Lauren (to inspire the attempt)
Billy apologizes for talking about work so much – he’s been preoccupied. Phyllis cares about her job too but tries not to bring it home. Billy can’t just go for romantic weekends and binge watch their favourite shows – work is his life right now. Phyllis is NOT happy.
Seemingly embarrassed, Vikki thanks Abby and decides it time to go home. But first, a thank you hug. OK, Abby’s left looking baffled and worried.
Your Mom and I have decided it’s best if I leave for now, Cane explains. Lily adds that she just needs some time. Cane got Jill’s OK to stay at the Chancellor Estate. I love you guys, getting no response whatsoever, he says it again and leaves in tears. The kids are left to console Lily as Cane cries on the front step.
Next: I’m worried, Chelsea confides. About what? Vikki asks. Nick …. So what’s your first step as an independent woman? Nick asks his Mom (but doesn’t look thrilled to hear that she’s going to spend the day at the Abbott cabin with Jack) … Hilary broadcast it on her show, Abby reiterates. With my blessing, Victor stuns her.
