Vikki doesn’t mean to be harsh (but is anyway) Listing Cane’s transgressions and lies, she wishes him well but will have him escorted out of the building if he’s not gone when she comes back. Cane’s left alone to smash a glass against the lab wall.
Kevin startles Chloe when he returns to the car with take out food. Eat, stay strong and we’ll go get Bella. Noticing her hesitation, Kevin thinks he knows what’s wrong.
Mike leaves Kevin a no-nonsense ‘call me back’ message. Paul will use all the legal channels he has to find Kevin. Mike has an idea he can’t share. If it pans out I’ll let you know, he leaves.
Still on lifeguard duty, Charlie does not appreciate the ‘loser’ Reed calling him Chuck, Chuckie, or Chuckles. The tension is broken when a pretty young lady appears to asks Charlie to call her later.
Juliet hopes to be Cane’s friend again – he won’t penalise our child for MY actions. This baby could put an end to all this animosity – starting with Cane (who appears on cue to knock at the door – and smirk when seeing Hilary)
Cane’s not surprised to find Hilary in Juliet’s room; celebrating, he assumes. Hilary was just leaving, Juliet claims – leaving Juliet to try make nice with Cane – the baby changes everything. Cane’s not convinced – this is one big scam. Juliet’s offended – she didn’t plan to get fired or pregnant and she didn’t set Billy up to tank the hockey deal. That was just dumb luck.
Back on the rooftop, Reed teases Charlie about having to show Gabrielle around town – maybe take her past Zoey’s house. After Charlie gets back to work, Mattie and Reed agree to go see a movie. Hilary chats briefly with Mattie before taking a seat beside Jordan. You knew Juliet was pregnant, he accuses immediately.
In the parked car, Kevin obviously can’t say he approves of Chloe killing Adam but he’ll never question her motive or sanity, nor will he abandon her.
Mike fails to get answers from Ester (who he manages to keep somewhat calm) Paul calls – I have news (and it doesn’t sound good)
