Pausing their movie, Dr Harris admits he signed Chloe out early because of the money – but that was wrong and he now wants to make amends. Hearing a noise, he steps outside to shine a flashlight around – leaving Kevin to join Chloe inside.
Dina has social obligations to return to in Paris and no longer considers GC her home. Tell Abby I’m sorry I missed her. You aren’t saying goodbye to her?? Ashley’s pissed that Dina’s walking out on Abby the way she did her children all those years ago.
It’s Sharon’s job to worry about Noah – perhaps big sister Mariah can talk to him. He was so hurt when Marissa left town. Give Tessa a chance, Mariah implores as Tessa arrives at CL’s. But Sharon stays put as Mariah becomes Tessa’s confidante – hearing all about Nikki going off on her for calling Victor. Scott’s back to update Sharon that he went to quit but Victor promoted him. He won’t be traveling and he won’t be used by Victor. Don’t make him your role model, Sharon warns when Scott laments growing up without a Father.
Jack reminds Abby that he believed in her when Victor didn’t. She appreciates that but her Dad will go ballistic if he finds out Jack’s involved. Jack promised Ashley a lab in the warehouse and doesn’t want to be bought off with a ‘generous’ one-time payment while Victor collects for years to come. This isn’t about Victor – this is about MY dream, Abby’s tired of being in the middle. Surprised when Jack agrees, Abby’s even more surprised to hear that Dina’s leaving without saying goodbye. It wouldn’t be the first time, Jack sighs.
Ashley rants ‘n raves about opening up to her Mother. I actually felt protective of you the past few days, she’s in tears. Go back to Paris, put yourself first like you always do! After Ashley slams out, Graham returns to find Dina looking weary.
Kevin hugs Chloe – Bella’s with Ester – she’s ours, he reports happily. Chloe will answer his questions but right now we have to get out of here! Dr Harris returns to ask what’s going on – and who are you?
We had an understanding, Dr Harris complains to Chloe – and isn’t happy to hear that she summoned Kevin. I’m not a prisoner, she CHOSE to come here and to fake her death – and it was also her choice to contact Kevin. I love him. I can’t live without him, she tells Dr Harris defiantly.
As summoned, Nikki comes over to hear about Jack’s Mommy issues (and suspicions that Graham controls her) She defers to him for all decisions. Ashley thinks he’s after money. And what does Jack think? Dina’s choosing Graham over us. Nikki gushes over a photo of a 15-year-old Jack (with John) and is happy to hear the Abbott’s had a family dinner the other night. Now she’s feeling, Jack gripes. Nikki wonders why people close to us can hurt us more than any stranger ever could.
Coming through the revolving door, Victor finds Ashley upset that her Mother’s leaving. Abby will be disappointed, Victor knows. When Abby arrives, she reports that Jack told her that Dina plans to leave without saying goodbye to her. ‘Unacceptable’, she makes a beeline to Dina’s suite to ask why.
After losing a child and her marriage, Abby now feels she’s losing her grandmother too. You can come visit, Dina reassures. There’s nothing I can say? Abby tears up – I love you. My leaving doesn’t mean that I don’t love you – but it’s not possible right now, Dina says. Graham clears his throat to end the visit. With a hug, Abby leaves Dina to lament that leaving is the right thing to do but it feels so wrong.
