Vikki and Nick continue to struggle with keeping their secret. Nick worries about Faith living at the ranch and hopes Mom stands firm and teaches Dad a lesson.
Faith’s essay is to write about someone she admires – she’s picked her Grandpa. He’s touched. Nikki’s not. And after Faith goes upstairs, she tells Victor to find a way to change Faith’s mind on him being the subject of her essay. Victor’s pissed – Nikki may have poisoned Vikki and Nick against him but he won’t let her do the same with his grandkids.
As owner of the show, Hilary feels she should be front and center. When Devon chimes in, Jordan claims that he’s just threatened by Hilary’s drive. Hilary has no time for this and tells Mariah to hire a photographer and do a mock-up poster for her approval (not Jordan – you can’t afford him) Mariah believes this is all about her dating Devon.
Sharing some Scotch and laughs, Scott again brings up Chloe and Victor. Phyllis feels no sympathy for Victor but won’t talk about him. After another drink, she decides to tell Scott that his Mom tried to hook them up.
When Reed and Tessa arrive at the ranch for their music lesson, Nikki hovers to listen to them play guitar. Meanwhile, Victor’s in the stables punching (and grunting) away at a heavy bag.
Hilary did ‘all this’ to improve the show, not because she’s jealous that Mariah’s dating her ex. After Mariah and Devon leave, Hilary thanks Jordan for sticking up for her. He’s concerned their hook-up the other night was a one-time thing.
Vikki arrives at Underground (which ‘looks fantastic’ for Reed’s party) Noah’s worried about his Dad. Everyone’s been rocked by this. You have no idea, Vikki sighs.
When Reed’s guitar breaks again, Nikki thinks it’d be a shame if he can’t play at his party tonight. Inviting Tessa, Nikki announces that Victor won’t be able to make it. As she goes to help Vikki set up for the party, Reed asks her to try get Victor to come. Of course, she lies.
Victor takes a break when Faith comes to the stables. After a sweet (sappy) chat, Faith hugs her beloved Grandpa, not caring how sweaty he is. Nick arrives; his unibrow is in full force.
At Devon’s penthouse, Mariah raises a wine glass – ‘to the small font woman’. Devon’s sorry that Hilary’s punishing her for dating him. Listing her wonderful qualities, he definitely thinks Mariah big font worthy ~kiss~
Now seated on the floor, shoes off, Phyllis and Scott joke about Lauren trying to set them up (so he’ll stay in town)
