Traci again mentions Billy to Jack – I invited him to join us. Maybe not a good idea, Ashley thinks. Definitely not, Jack barks – Billy’s not welcome here. Traci finally raises her voice – Dad would want you to find a way to forgive Billy and make him feel part of the family again. Are you going to sit in Dad’s chair and refuse to do that!?
Vikki and Billy run into one another at the park cafe. I’m fine – Travis is gone, she updates. Her plan? Enjoy the holidays – focus on work. Jill has the latest numbers (up across the board) No, Billy didn’t tell her that Vikki and Travis are done and he doesn’t deserve an apology. I didn’t want to tell you. On the bright side, your Father would approve. Vikki doesn’t look forward to telling Victor. He loves you – wants the best for you, Billy reasons.
Nikki’s sorry if it seems she was taking Dylan’s side over Nick’s. Apology accepted, Nick says (which Victor thinks gracious) Nikki then tearfully lists all Dylan’s lost. I’m so sorry, she weeps in Nick’s arms as Victor looks on approvingly.
Jack knows Traci means well but can’t pretend he’s forgiven Billy. No one condones what Billy did – but he’s our brother, the ladies remind. Be civil, Abby suggests. Jack knows they all love Billy but there won’t be any reconciliation under MY roof. Billy’s accepted what you three can’t – he knows better than to show up here.
Vikki thinks Billy should accept Traci’s invitation. Oh, what a kind-hearted person she is. She wants to mend the world (or at least the Abbott family) No, Billy doesn’t think that’ll happen. Thanksgiving was a bust. Try, Vikki encourages.
Dylan unwraps a Christmas ornament with Sully’s name on it. No, don’t throw it out, Sharon stops him. Why prolong the agony? Dylan thinks they need to let go.
After Victor leaves for work, Nikki tells Nick he’s a great Father. He feels he owes her an apology too. Oh, how blessed he is to have Christian back in his life. But honestly, being a single parent is overwhelming.
Coat on, Dylan gushes some more about Nikki. Sharon going into the kitchen, he sneaks a little framed photo of Christian into his pocket.
Nick won’t blame Sharon for the allergy incident – I didn’t ask any questions. I don’t know much about Christian. You’ll find your way, Nikki won’t let Nick blame himself. You’ll adjust – you always do. Nick thinks it different – my wife died – I’m alone – I’m all Christian has. Things will fall into place and your Father and I are here for you always ~hug~
