At the club, Ashley leaves Billy a message – she dropped Michelle at the airport – she and Travis are over. Abby appears wondering why she heard Travis’ name. About Thanksgiving, she hopes to join the Abbott’s at the cabin and the Newman’s at the ranch. Ashley gets a call and updates Abby that she’s heading to San Francisco to tout JabotGo on a morning show.
Billy watches as Vikki and Travis sit on a bench. He doesn’t know the exact moment he decided to propose. Travis hasn’t hung onto anything in his life – he wants this to be forever. Does Vikki want that? I love you, she’s not saying no … I just need some time – sorry. Travis understands – he can wait. Vikki’s going to walk/think (keep the ring some place safe) Billy leaves after Vikki does.
Chelsea stitches costumes then leaves Nick and Faith to do the Thanksgiving video.
Nice of you to finally show up, Hilary demands Mariah take notes – she wants to do a story on exposed secrets. Like your affair with Devon? No – not like that at all – Hilary wants to interview anyone Sharon might have confided in. Mariah’s not stupid – I. Don’t. Know. Anything. Hilary’s not buying it – come find me when you want to unburden yourself. Kevin then shows up to whine that he blew things with Chloe – and how’s things at home? Hilary watches him and Mariah chat.
At CL’s, Abby asks Vikki where Travis is. You did make up right? Yes, he proposed, Vikki announces.
He proposed? Ashley’s updated at the club by Billy. It looks like Vikki needed time to think about it. The question has been asked and will be answered – Ashley wonders how Billy feels about that.
It feels surreal to watch my ex-wife being proposed to, Billy wonders if he should have confronted Travis. Doesn’t Vikki deserve to know her next husband’s as big a jerk as her last one? Ashley doesn’t think Billy should tell Vikki. He won’t.
So? So, Vikki told Travis she needed to think. Abby advises her to wait until she knows exactly what she wants. That sounds easy but seems so hard to Vikki.
If I’m about to be fired just tell me, Sharon barks at Chloe as she arrives at the studio. Huh? Chloe’s got her own issues – she won’t throw rocks from her glass house. People will always judge us – will never trust us. If we can’t stick together we’re totally screwed. Apologizing, a relieved Sharon gives Chloe a hug.
Mariah sent off to editing, Hilary approaches Kevin to make it clear that she knows there’s more to Sharon’s story and won’t stop digging until the whole truth comes out.
When Mariah returns to scold Kevin, Hilary claims she’s no dragon lady – Kevin’s always welcome. You’re so kind, Kevin lies and exits. Hilary then accuses Mariah of hustling Kevin out because he knows YOU know something. It’s embarrassing how wrong you are, Mariah replies. Devon comes along waving a piece of paper – here’s your big story. You’ve got to be kidding me, Hilary reads.
Now at the studio, Chelsea also reassures Sharon she’s not getting fired. Listen to her, Chloe smiles as she leaves. Your job’s not going anywhere but Chelsea would understand if Sharon needed time off (due to Faith) How do you know about that? Sharon’s puzzled. Yes, Chelsea was at Nick’s when Dylan brought her over. And don’t worry about the video project – she’s doing it with Nick. Despite Chelsea’s supportive words, Sharon claims she only wants what Nick wants (Faith to live with him)
