Seated at the park cafe, Billy tries to get to know Michelle (who’s vague and with a handshake gets back to her run) Billy leaves Ashley a message – we need to talk.
Victor and Nikki’s argument over Dylan ends with Vikki and Travis arrive with the kids. After they take the kids to feed the horses, Chloe rings the doorbell – surprise. This party’s by invitation only, Victor reminds Chloe that Chelsea’s only her friend still because she doesn’t know what she did to Adam.
Paul’s back in his office to escort Sharon to her cell. Sharon apologizes for hurting his son and grandson. I don’t have a grandson, Paul replies. Sharon’s so sorry she hurt them both. Paul then gets a text – the arraignment’s been moved up; Sharon may as well stay here.
Back at the tackhouse, Dylan tells Nick that Sharon was arrested because of her interview. He knows it’s bad timing but Sharon spent the night in jail – she’s probably going to lose everyone. Including you? Nick wonders if this is Dylan’s last act of kindness before cutting Sharon loose.
Of course Dylan’s angry but that doesn’t mean he wants Sharon in jail – can’t Nick show her some mercy? When Chelsea arrives, Nick thanks Dylan for stopping by (then updates Chelsea that Dylan’s pleading Sharon’s case) Chelsea sympathizes with Sharon – what good would putting her behind bars do? She implores Nick to drop his grudge and focus on Christian.
At the club, Billy grills Ashley on her friend Michelle – how does she know Travis?
When Abby arrives with cupcakes, Travis takes them to the kitchen – leaving Abby to note that Vikki’s glowing. She’s happy things are back on track; it’s not easy dating a Newman.
Do you accuse all your guests of homicide? Chloe thought she and Victor were OK. Not really – Adam would still be alive if Chloe had coughed up Sage’s diary pages. You’re living in Adam’s house and haven’t told Chelsea anything. No, but Chelsea also doesn’t know how YOU put Adam in a jail cell, Chloe replies. Walking in with Connor, Chelsea looks puzzled by the obvious tension she walked in on.
Thanking Victor for the warm welcome, Chloe leaves him playing with Christian. It must be tough to realize Connor is Christian’s half brother, he tells Chelsea. Victor wishes Adam was alive to see Christian alive. No, Chelsea will never tell Chloe that Adam’s his Father. Victor warns that Chloe’s not as mentally sound as everyone believes.
Back at the club, Ashley tells Billy that Travis and Michelle had an affair – it was messy but it’s over. Billy wonders why he’s texting her then. Ashley assumes Michelle learned from her mistake. Billy hopes so – he won’t stand by and watch Vikki get hurt.
Chloe chats with Vikki then puts her foot in her mouth by asking Abby how married life is. There’s more awkward tittering when Abby asks about Bella’s Father.
Nikki asks Chelsea where Nick is. He’ll be here soon but had something to take care of first.
Dylan joins Paul and Sharon at the station. Uh oh – seems a by-the-book judge is hearing Sharon’s case. She looks even more worried when Nick appears.
When Chloe comes back from sampling cupcakes, Abby apologizes for asking about Bella’s Father. It’s OK – he’s long gone – but we have Kevin around. After Chloe runs off for more cupcakes, Vikki shares Abby’s curiosity and is sure Chloe’s used to being questioned.
Now at the party, Billy chats with Vikki but keeps an eye on Travis (chatting with Nikki) Something wrong? Vikki asks.
