Still at the office, Victor’s emotional as he looks at a framed photo of Adam. Having something important to do, he calls his assistant to clear his schedule.
Chelsea, Nick and Connor come home to update Chloe on their day. Nick places Connor beside Bella and says a few kinds words to Chloe on his way out. That leaves Chloe to update that she ran into Billy; he’s really struggling.
Billy’s now struggling at Brash n Sassy – flashing back to blasting Chloe for her ‘insane’ idea of wanting a sample to clone Delia – how desperate she was to have a baby. Vikki arrives, not to blast him for the video, but to say she’s also missing Delia. At mention of her tree thriving, Billy wonders why he’s the only one who isn’t.
Chloe’s not pushing me away – we have work to do, Kevin admits to Mariah (then heads off to visit Delia’s tree) I like trees and nature-y things, Mariah’s offer to tag along is accepted. Let’s go.
Victor’s at the roadside memorial to say that Adam’s probably in heaven and hopes Delia forgave him – if so, give him a hug for me. May you both rest in peace.
The kids have each other, just like we have each other, Chelsea’s so happy that Chloe’s back and that she went to the jail that day to forgive Adam; it gave him peace. Chloe’s glad she talked to Adam – after that, she could breathe again.
At the office, Billy can’t stop reliving that night – holding Delia as he prayed she’d live until the ambulance arrived. He tries to do better, to move on – but can’t seem to fix himself. This might just be the way my life will always be. As Vikki leans in to hold Billy, Travis watches.
