This guy’s going after my wife, Dylan appeals to Kevin. Mariah appears to help – it’s scary to think someone’s watching my Mom. After Kevin OK’s it, Dylan leaves him to say ‘the stakes are high’. Mariah definitely agrees.
About to leave the park, Chelsea tells Sharon that she overstepped in telling Faith she was trying to get them together. No more matchmaking, Sharon apologizes and will tell Faith she was wrong. Nick plucks Sully out of his stroller and comments on his resemblance to Noah. After Nick leaves with Chelsea, Mariah texts Sharon – they know it’s a cell phone.
Now at CL’s, Chelsea’s still a bit miffed with Sharon’s matchmaking when she and Nick are still grieving. She wants to spread the joy, Nick wants to cut her some slack. Sharon just wants everyone to be as happy as she is.
At the park, Sharon blathers about Dylan being overjoyed by Sully, asks about Chris, then Patty. Appreciating Sharon’s concern, Paul informs that he doesn’t visit the high-security facility much (per doctor’s request) If Patty’s one day declared competent she’ll stand trial for Dr Anderson’s murder. There’s no telling where Patty’s mind goes. Sharon thinks that sad.
Patty’s painting so completely ignores the staffer who comes to see if she needs more art supplies and take her food tray. Alone again, Patty smiles slyly to herself.
Abby apologizes for not being honest with Ben – and after a brief interruption can’t pretend their marriage is improving. She won’t be hurried off to a fertility doctor – there’s no problems. How do you know that? Ben wonders. Abby’s still taking her birth control pills.
When another nurse interrupts for supplies, Ben snaps at her. Abby apologizes for lying but didn’t have the courage to do the right thing. Ben realizes she’s not sure about ‘us’. She is sure about one thing…. After another nurse is kicked out of the break room, Abby feels they’re only pretending everything’s OK. The denial has to stop. But can it?
When Summer joins Chelsea and Nick at CL’s, she jokes about Sharon trying to hook them up (as she’s trying to do with Jack and Phylis) Nick again defends Sharon but Summer agrees with Chelsea that there’s more to it.
Dylan returns to wonder why Sharon didn’t mention that she was meeting Paul. After Mariah makes excuses, Dylan’s easily distracted by Kevin. As she gets a text from Sharon (who’s off to see Patty) Kevin finds something exciting – whoa!
