Where’s Mommy? Faith’s told that she and Nick went to the courthouse. Daddy will be there for your baby too – since you don’t want it, Faith blurts out. Shawn reacts well – your Dad and Sage will be better parents. Will you want the baby back later? Sage pales when Shawn says she has up to a year to change her mind. But, you won’t, she bleats. Shawn isn’t sure how she’ll feel. If you miss the baby you can always come visit him right Sage? Faith chirps.
Nick and Sharon join Vikki at the courthouse – Noah and Marisa are inside. The Judge is still in chambers. Sharon leaves Nick to ask Vikki what’s going on. She asked Victor to help squelch a mutiny at NE. He laughed in your face, Nick guesses correctly. But no, he won’t come back to NE. You don’t need me, or Dad. You got this. Billy then appears – you alright? I am very far from alright, Vikki frowns.
In the courtroom, Leslie advises Noah to do what’s best for him – we’ll worry about Marisa lately. Putting the blame on Victor will work in his favour.
Victor’s not thrilled when Luca visits to say that division heads aren’t happy with Vikki being in charge. Things are rocky at NE but there’s a way to keep it strong – and you’re looking at him. Once again, Victor’s laughing out loud.
Victor wouldn’t trust Luca to park his car, never mind run his company. As Luca continues his pitch, Victor pretends to hear him out. When can Luca start? When hell freezes over.
Victor’s on his way to prison and his family have abandoned him – Jack thinks that punishment enough. Neil agrees – his need for revenge against Hilary consumed him. But you can’t always save someone from themselves; they have to want it. When Phyllis appears on cue, Neil leaves her to tell Jack that she does want it.
What is it? Billy’s concerned. Everything, Vikki tears up. Nikki and Summer interrupt to hurry her into the courtroom.
Noah interrupts the Judge to say he may have mislead the court. All look nervous (except Chris, who does not object) Noah now says it wasn’t all Victor’s fault – it was my choice. My mistakes are my own. No one but me should be held responsible. Judge Moxley now asks Noah to stand again for sentencing.
After hearing the defendant’s statement, Judge Moxley is even more sure of her decision. You’re your own man, controlled by your own conscience. All are deflated when Noah is found guilty – but relieved when he’s sentenced to 12 months probation and 60 hours of community service. Chris leaves as everyone celebrates, then file out. After Noah thanks Billy, Billy stops Vikki. he hopes they can move on too.
Phyllis can’t feel sorry for wanting Victor punished, but she does regret that she was willing to risk losing Jack’s love and respect over it. Jack’s sorry he can’t go back and change things. Phyllis the credits Billy with making her see the light. Wow – I love you, Jack doesn’t want to change or tame Phyllis. He loves her fire – when she can control the flames. In tears, Phyllis agrees to hold off on Passkey until Victor’s behind bars. Jack thinks that the perfect compromise. Now it’s time to go home and have sex.
Faith sent up to draw a picture, Sage apologizes to Shawn; who also wants to know the rules; can I see the baby when I want to? Once a year for parties? Or do I live in your guest room forever? Please stop, Sage is near tears.
Nikki now visits Victor to update him on Noah. You’d be proud of him for taking full responsibility. Victor doesn’t really care as long as he’s with ‘that woman’ – then wags his finger and promises that Nikki will regret pushing him out of his company.
Alone in the courtroom, Billy again pleads with Vikki; we can do this. Nope – Vikki knows she should be running the company and they should go separate ways.
