Kyle blames Billy (and Ashley) for the IRS audit. Billy blames Victor. Either way, Gwen can’t very well stall them. She could go to jail. Billy gives her the next few days off – go hang out on a beach. I’ll take care of the IRS, and Victor.
Abby’s annoyed when Vikki seems OK with blaming Ashley but is giving Billy a ‘free pass’. Victor understands Abby’s loyalty to her Mother – but she didn’t think much of your abilities. *I* did – that’s why you stayed at Newman, now you must fight for Newman. Victor makes it clear where Vikki’s loyalties should lie too.
You can’t let him walk out of here! Dylan protests. Paul pauses the pilot’s exit to hear Dylan out – he’s lying. Kevin traced him to the flight that brought Hilary back! Paul needs more than the info Kevin illegally obtained. Work within the confines of the law. You’re free to go, he tells the pilot (who smugly does so)
As Mike’s scolding Devon, Paul informs them that he released the pilot. Yes – he MIGHT have been arrested – if YOU didn’t punch him in the face! Where IS Dylan anyway? Mike wonders. Paul looks around (clearly having no idea)
At the club, the pilot’s on the phone booking a seat on the first available flight. You’re not going anywhere, Dylan takes a seat to say he’ll have the feds pull his passport. The pilot’s not fleeing – and he’s flying commercial because someone else is using his plane. Dylan demands an answer – where did the plane go after Dallas?
Noah says this isn’t just lies – it’s a conspiracy – you lied to the police – gave them a false sketch – you protected Jack, Victor and yourself – but couldn’t be honest with me. How do you know Marco’s gone for good? Marisa admits she was the one who caught him. How? Did you drug him? Marisa starts to cry. Did you?…. I did what I had to do to get rid of that bastard forever.
Kyle tattles that Ash left Billy in charge – he’s handling the audit and Victor (whatever that means) After Kyle and Summer are told to go off and enjoy the day, Phyllis and Jack speculate on who’s behind the Paragon Project – Fred? Ashley? Jack will go face Victor himself – leaving Phyllis to take a call from Fred – how’s your trip going? Fish not biting? Briefly wondering how she knew that, Fred says he’s back in GC. Phyllis sure is – when and where??
At the boathouse, Neil’s flashing back to better times with Gwen. Lo and behold, she calls! To say she just got surprise vacation time. How about she comes to New York for dinner? No – Neil doesn’t want her to get bored. We’ll plan a weekend away soon. It won’t work this time. Hurriedly hanging up on Gwen, Neil then gets a call from the pilot – we need to meet. It’s urgent.
Vikki and Abby drop by Jabot to chat with Billy. They aren’t too surprised to hear of the audit and warn that Victor’s brought in the FBI. He wants to have all of you arrested. Good luck with that, Billy’s unconcerned. The Abbott’s won’t go down.
Meanwhile, Jack’s in Victor’s office to insist that none of the Abbott’s are behind Paragon – you’re retaliating against the wrong enemy! It’ll cost you more in the long run. Call off the dogs now before it’s too late. The hell I will, Victor growls.
After a lovely walk in the park, Summer again whines about her and Kyle being caught in the middle of a war. My Grandpa really likes you – but what if that changes? Kyle’s sure they can overcome this ~kiss~
In the park with Fred, Phyllis admits she was upset when he left so abruptly. She’s stressed because Jack and Victor are at one another’s throats again. There’s been a cyber attack against NE. It’s funny how life works – coincidences – us meeting in the woods. When all this trouble started, you came into my life (Ian looks slightly nervous)
Victor and Jack continue to argue; neither budging. Even if it’s just the purchase of the shipping company (not Paragon) Victor questions Ashley suddenly leaving the country. And now he’s calling the FBI – to make it easier for them to arrest you.
