In an interrogation room, Phyllis whines to Mike about being locked up like a common criminal. And why wasn’t Jack at the arraignment? Has he flown off to a beach with Kelly? No – he’s trying to fix things. Phyllis blames Jack for tricking her.
Jack and Avery tell the Williams’ that Phyllis needs a psychiatric assessment. She’s ill from the side effects! Chris isn’t having it – Phyllis will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
Vikki thanks Ben for a lovely night. Now she and her Father have business to discuss (while Ben moves his stuff in) Both giggle as she hands him keys.
Hilary lets Devon in. He’s dropped by to encourage Neil – how soon do the DR’s think he can get his sight back??
Victor’s at his office, and on the phone with Jill. CI goes on sale in a few minutes. At the club, she’s well aware of that. Victor demands the money by noon. Collin will talk to his investors. Cane still wonders who that is. Just bring the money, Jill sends him off.
Vikki’s glad Victor attended the Christening. Ben’s moving in. Victor’s OK with that. Good – Vikki would rather discuss him not selling the warehouse district. It’s nice for Mom and Dylan, but the money is needed – what’s really going on?
Jill reassures Cane – have faith in Collin. We need the money so MUST accept his help. He knows how much CI means to me – and Collin wants Cane back in the corporate world.
As Neil talks about being able to see, Devon gets a text from Collin – who wants more money. As soon as Devon sends a ‘no’, Collin calls to summon Neil to CL’s. As Neil goes off to shower, Hilary worries. It’s time to call Collin’s bluff, Devon says.
Phyllis now gripes about Summer not visiting her either. Avery and Jack arrives. Phyllis thanks Avery for representing her – but gives Jack the cold shoulder. She’s not happy to hear she’s going to Fairview (the ‘mental institution’)
Neil in the shower, Devon tells Hilary to trust him – I love you. Neil comes out to confront Hilary. Get out! Hilary’s fantasizing of course (and tells Neil that she’s fine)
Kelly’s at Vikki’s to tell Ben that Phyllis has been arrested (but she’s still a threat to Jack) She’ll drag him down. And you’re the one to pull him back from the brink? Ben asks gently (but with skepticism)
Chris is pissed that Phyllis is going to Fairview instead of prison. She’s NOT insane. Paul’s objective – this isn’t personal. We serve the people of GC.
Phyllis is even more pissed. Fairview?! THIS is the best my genius lawyers can come up with? Mike reminds that Chris is out to get her. No Judge will grant a change of venue. When Jack chimes in, Phyllis says he’s out to get her (for ruining the perfect life he had when she was in a coma)
Victor’s giving up the real estate deal and selling CI instead (to Jill if she pays full price) Vikki’s impressed. It’s what Kay would want. It’s the best way to honour Kay’s legacy, Victor says.
Fretting at the club, Jill gets some reassurance (via phone) from Collin. He won’t let her down.
On the CL’s patio, Devon calls Collin’s bluff – go ahead, out me and Hilary. Collin thinks the family will come to understand why he blackmailed Devon. Just wire the money.
Kelly cares about Jack – that’s all. Phyllis is the one obsessed. Of course she’s worried about Jack. Ben knows she ‘falls hard’ – doesn’t want her falling apart again (like she did when her marriage ended)
The lawyers give Jack a moment alone with Phyllis (so they can argue about Kelly) He wants to spend the rest of his life with Phyllis – but you haven’t been yourself. I’m confused – Phyllis doesn’t know who to trust. Trust US. As Phyllis is taken out for transport, Chris sneers – I look forward to reading your psychiatric assessment. I’m sure it’ll be fascinating. Paul isn’t thrilled. Jack looks devastated.
Vikki hugs her Dad – happy he came through for Mom. They discuss Nikki almost dropping Katie. He’s worried – Victor will do anything to keep his family together.
Hilary again tells Neil that she’s fine (just wants him to regain his sight) Neil will take her out later to celebrate what lies ahead. After he goes to meet Collin, Hilary pours wine; and fantasizes about telling Neil the truth; which he accepts graciously, but then drinks)
Devon goes to the club to ask Cane for help. Updated, Cane scolds Devon – this won’t end well for anyone. Is he really supposed to talk to Collin, lie to Lily and keep Devon’s secret until HE’S ready to reveal it? Are you out of your mind??
Hilary continues to envision how Neil might react. This time he ends up punching Devon.
Collin’s meeting with Neil right now, Devon whines. Yes, he’s desperate. Will Cane help? Devon sounds desperate too.
I lost my son, my marriage collapsed, Kelly sharply reminds Ben. And he reminds that she had to get help. He just doesn’t want to see her get hurt. What was that all about? Vikki asks when Kelly runs out the door.
Phyllis is not liking her room at Fairview. It’ll help you get well and help your case, Avery replies. When an orderly informs that it’s time to go, Phyllis appeals to Jack – don’t go.
Back at the station, Mike’s sorry that he’s opposing Phyllis. Chris is not happy and later grumbles to Paul that he’s protecting her. Phyllis is vindictive. Paul wishes Chris would stop getting worked up. And she can’t understand why he’s not MORE worked up. He’s alarmed when Chris experiences sudden pain.
Vikki knows that Ben’s feeling guilty that he’s so happy. Life is short – grab on to every moment you’ve got ~kiss~ And off to bed they go.
On the CL’s patio, Cane interrupts Neil and Collin – to give his Dad an envelope; family business. And as Devon gives Jill a check, Collin pulls out a Bonaventure business card. On the back Cane’s written – if you tell Neil, I tell Victor. Cane then shares wonderful news with Neil – Devon’s giving them the money to buy back CI. It’s in everybody’s best interest. Back at the club, Devon tells Jill that Collin can have nothing to do with CI. Deal, she shakes his hand – and calls Victor with the good news. I’ll be damned – bring it over, Victor instructs. CI is back where it belongs – I’ll make your Grandmother proud, Jill vows.
Chris is seated – she doesn’t want to take any chances either. Paul’s eager to raise their baby (he ‘wasn’t able’ to do that with his other kids) Chris promises she won’t risk her or the baby’s health. Phyllis won’t cost us any more.
Phyllis is locked in her room, calling Jack’s name and banging on the door. I’m not OK with this!!
Next: You gave up on her once and you’re just doing it again! Summer blasts Jack (as Avery looks on helplessly) … I’m here to help you, Victor tells Phyllis. Go to hell, she snarls … Victor didn’t just suddenly change his mind. Did you make Joe a better offer? Dylan accuses Avery (who slaps him across the face)
